  • Are you sponsored or do you work for Detector Pro? I am just curious if this is a sponsored review or not. Thanks!, I enjoy your videos, man :) HH

  • Good video bro, but invest in a Vibra Probe.

How many targets do you mangle with that Lesche..???

What if you scratched a seated Liberty half.???

    Get a probe..!!!!

  • Enjoyed the video. Music clips are funny.

  • thanks for filling your excavations--that is insurance to keep our great hobby legal--more and more places are shutting down to detecting---so everything we can do to stay on the good side of relations with landowneres and governing authorities is definitely a must if we want to continue as detectorists

  • The pirate is just a fisher 1289-x in a headphone and it is not nearly as waterproof as the 1280-x------but the 2.8 khz 1280-x ain't that good in salt water---pulse induction or multi-frequency is best for salt water

  • good metal detector

  • could you get the music any louder?

  • great video.. enjoying them.. but haven't seen any new ones??? what's up with that??

  • was lookin for some swashbuckle, but this is a cool vid

  • I was looking for some alestorm but nice video anyway.

  • and your Detectorpro Pistol Probe is where?

  • Great stuff.

  • Nice vid

  • Hope you had LOTS of fun out there!!

  • Great video & finds

  • Good video, your having fun and doing just fine, been doing this for over 25 years now, thanks for the vid..

  • So about a month or so from this video, have you had time to use your pirate anymore and what can you tell us about it..reliable, dependable, battery use, how deep is deep, maintance and maybe street cost. Thanks for sharing.

  • First thing I noticed after he scooped up the sand was check the hole for a signal and then dump what he had in his scoop without looking. 99% of the time this would be ok but several years ago I was watching someone doing this very same thing and after he went on to find the next signal I checked the sand and rocks where he had dumped the first scoop and out came a 10k class ring! ALWAYS check what's in the scoop before dumping as they might be more than one target in the same area.

  • Use a mat when you dig your plug. Place the dirt on the mat and then dump back in the hole when done. Leaves no trace of dir ton the ground and makes for a quick clean up of the site.

  • And can you go metal detecting in the rain?

  • Where'd you get the pirate metal detector?

  • Good video w/ great music tie in and transitions. Good CNN t-shirt plug.

  • Don't you worry about scratching up the coin ... incase its a rare one in great shape that is?

  • Great Video! How old was that quarter?

  • It was only a 1965 clad quarter that was very badly corroded by the salt water
