I am familiar with Snowball. His moves are typical of a Sulpher Crested Cockatoo. I have a friend who owns one that dances the same way.

Frostie's moves in the Shake Your Tail Feather dance video are most unusual and there is not another bird who can do all of his moves.

It sure does hurt! I have to trim their nails with toenail clippers and believe me, it requires help and is not fun. If they are cut too short, the bird can bleed to death if the bleeding isn't stopped quickly. (Any extremely fine powder like baking soda or powder, powdered sugar, flour, etc. will stop the bleeding.) But, they do NOT like it at all! Frostie lets out a horrible sound each clip, even though it doesn't hurt, and I hate that! It makes me jump!

That's terrible! I've seen birds that do that. Frostie will pluck too if he eats seeds. In fact, he was down visiting at Ted's house where all the parrots live and ate some and now he started plucking! Tell your friend to give the bird ZuPreem Avian Maintenance and NO seeds. See if that makes any difference. The bird could be allergic to seed.
