I remember this and I think it was a turntable hit at least. It deserved a top 40 placing but didn't quite make it. I like the way you can hear the individual instruments and the words on tracks from this time. People must have been spoilt for choice to overlook such a strong song.

Nick is a great bass player but really not a good singer. He can do at most backup vocals! Glad Limahl is back with the band! The 5 together rock! Wish I could go see them live.

Thanks for this video! It's been in the back of my mind on and off since I was 13 (I'm 36 now). Completely transports me back to being a kid when MTV just started to happen in the UK.

I personally think Kajagoogoo did a lot more interesting music after Limahl left. Nick Beggs is a consumate bassist and although listening to it now it's unmistakably '80's' one can't deny the actual technical abilities of the guys. Something that's sorely missing in pop music today.

I saw Nick Beggs' solo gig with Chapman Stick. It was stunning to look and hear how he alone created 3 or 4 lines by playing them "in" and playing over them creating
