good but the guitar choice is pretty bad , its probably best to invest in an unfinished guitar , a good way to test a good guitar for percussive playing is to hit the main bit of the body and see how much air comes out of the sound hole , the more air the better

To be honest the mistake wasn't very noticeable, but you should try not to screw up your face if you do something wrong. It wasn't obvious to me until I saw your face do that. The majority of non guitar playing people aren't even gonna hear the mistakes, so there is no point in alerting them to something you've done in error.

to cbluebeard: you can't get rid of the other tone. You just have to do it that way. It depends how well you hit the string with your finger too. and if you have a really nice guitar like andy mckee does with perfect action then it helps a bit. Just push through and it'll sound better and better
