• 3:15 lolololol

  • in my opinion blaming the DPP for everything is pretty narrow minded too. Look at the huge fight, how could you ever claim that one party is innocent and the other is responsible for everyone else? the DPP made a shitload of empty promises, and so did the KMT. in the end, they're all just hypocrites, because politics is bullshit.

  • Taiwan is a disgrace! This fighting is bullshit. If two people disagree with each other, just agree to disagree, not pull punches.

  • LET the PRC take over. This is shameful.

  • People who are supposed to lead the country????

  • Taiwanese Legislature needs bouncers...

  • i think i heard sheriff john burnell in this vid

  • 民主義﹐﹐萬歲!!

  • this doesn't happen with communism like in china

  • fake , most of these brawl in taiwan are staged for media coverage ...still kinda funny to watch.

  • democratised mainland china will do the same

  • Yay!! Catfight!!

  • To all of you making idiot comments about these fights, have you taken the time to find out what's actually going on? These guys are literally forging a new democracy in their country and releasing themselves from generations of opression.

  • Avalon888, what on earth does it matter?

Whatever the sakes, you don't behave like some monkey, do you? Politics is about tactics and strategy, not about making a laughing stock of your country.

  • That's exactly wrong. Do you think that these guys are doing this for a laugh? I'm afraid that it's a right of passage for any civilised democracy/society for the mass majority to wrest the power from from the oppressive ruling minority. THAT'S what's happening here.

    It matters a lot.

  • US rebeled against Britain. France got rid the king. same thing, but in modern times.

  • @jyasutten which king? king kong?

  • what an embarrassment. if it weren't so stupid it'd actually be funny.

  • I love it how the camera crew do their job and not stop the fight. I look up to them lol.

  • China use human hair to make soy sauce. Its true google it up

  • i gotta practice my fistfighting to become a powerful politician in Taiwan!

  • democracy in action:)

  • brillant pure brillant thanks for posting

  • irritating music

  • the government is a joke, otherwise, great electronics

  • Fuck yes, it's just like post-Revolution America.

    Bring back walking sticks!

  • my favorite part is when the lady slapped the other lady

  • this is what happens when you dont give a country its freedom form china

  • That doesn't make sense. What does PRC have to do with Taiwan to cause this retarded mess by the DPP.

It's a shame the DPP is only a single issue party that does so much harm to Taiwan's democracy, society, and the economy. Their best excuse for their idiocy is to blame the KMT, CCP, and PRC's 1000 missile thing.

  • @stevenchiang8281 your retardation proves that you are the same kind of ppl as shown in the film

  • these suckers don't know how to fight~~lol

  • It never occured to me to blame all the worlds woes on one particular faith, relgion, race, creed, form of government, or even one's gender. This is how human are especially when egos get involved and people who want more power. sometimes it's not even the money, they have money, mens egos like power. this fighting goes on in russia, china, india, islreal, hawaii, peru, okinawa, usa, my town, city, neighborhood, work place, curch, Ego is ego and Evil knows no boundaries. N most men degrade women

  • All you Chinese shit can stick your Unification comments up your arses!! We are Taiwan and this is the democracy that we yearn for. You don't like it? Tough. We don't comment on Chinese affairs, so don't stick your noses in our affairs.

  • but uh, your in Thailand..... lol

  • It's better to have an iron fist than putting on a clown show on national tv. Did you know china has not been a democratic for over 3000 years? People get used to one thing, they don't change that easily.

  • Dear all the chinese people who wrote comments on dat wall..

i pity you guys, yall think being able to comment on dat page giv u any kind of power, or makes u feel powerful towards that situation.

but my point is... i pity u guys cuz dat mite be one of the only pages ur able to access on the web

N' by pity i mean laughter, cuz i dont even think that u folks r actually in china, n' dats y u were able to access dat page

u guys r rite : democracy sucks.. when its given to people who dun hav a brain

  • This is what happens when you apply democrazy on China. And think about what would happen in a population of 1.3 billion ppl. I would pay big money to watch this fight in the parliament of china LOL!

  • KILL THOSE PAN GREEN DPP DOGS!!!

  • That is the reason why I would never go out or think about marry a Taiwanese woman....

    You get hit like that.....

  • LOL

  • nice music

  • shame on them...

  • Psh. Taiwan will probably never rejoin China

  • long live taiwan and China together as one indivisible nation.

  • long live taiwan and China together as one indivisible nation. Long live forever China and the Chinese people with happiness, prosperity, and harmony.

  • Speaking as a Taiwanese national (who recently finished my service, after putting it off for years...), I have to admit, your choice of the song from 'Rocky' was quite brilliant. :)

The Yuan has a tradition of solving issues with fists--"because they care", or so they claim. Maybe its true sometimes. The Ukrainians are doing it now too! (Ukrainian democracy for you, I suppose)

Funny video. I think China, the US, and the rest of the world are just secretly jealous. :) Except for Ukraine.

  • Once democracy arrives on the Mainland I'd pay big money to see the fight in the Parliament building.

  • hahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • Babies. Haha... Very immature!

  • This is why the Malaysian BN Backbenchers went to Taiwan on a "study trip", learn to fight......

  • I'm so disappointed in the Taiwanese Parliament... and its not due to the fact that they fought.. its due to the fact that there was no kung fu fighting involved in this what so ever.

  • lol. touche.

  • LOL

  • Hehehe. Very entertaining. The most we get in Australia is verbal abuse in parliament. Also quite a few Hakka Chinese live in Taiwan. ^^

  • one thing they havent utilized is the headlock and spitting

  • americans need to worry about their economy, and how not to have another 4000 plus dead soldiers before they worry about China

  • I've never heard of people getting starved to death when that bald headed guy ruled Taiwan.

Anyway, please enjoy your new KMT government.

  • and they call thmeselves a real government. lol

  • Of course they have a real government. Its name is Republic of China(ROC).

Do you really think people fight everyday? If so, you should keep distance to all mass media, because you are already misleaded by TVs.

What TV presents is not always the same as daily life.

  • Shameful, those DDP members are barbarians in Taiwan!

  • but i have to say, this video makes me laugh

    LOL

    bad me...ahha

  • so what's this fight about?

this video shows taiwanese have passion and the government is definitely splitted between two main parties.

i just home KMT goes down. or change their view points and stand; NO reunification with china right now, please, or at least leave the rest of the taiwanese out of it.

  • Or you just hope that you have nothing but a 1 gram of rice in your bowl if Frankie becomes president?

  • 台湾人很有素质啊 !!!!

  • 傻瓜 怎麽不用腳踢呢 哎。。。

    Use chinese kungfu!! Please!

  • Ooooh . . . it was really touching.

    this is a spirit ! ! !

    GO Legislature, Keep a Good Fight ! ! !

  • What year was this fight?

  • 太民主了,顶下~!

  • 哎,总比我们的人大代表这些木头人好,除了会举手和鼓掌之外,还能指望他们有什么作为么?

  • you know what the fuck i mean, dont be an ignorant fuck.

  • Hahahaha, taiwanese culture.

  • What the fuck do you mean "Taiwanese culture." you're ignorant.

  • Taiwanese are violent, aggressive, bullies and well-trained military head from secondary school. Your shit-head officers teach you bullying in schools! teach you to fight and yell on streets. You are just another militarism country ass! Taiwanese culture?? Shame to all Chinese. Please read Chinese history before 1947 and then you know you Taiwanese is just a shame to all Chinese!!!!!

  • too bad before 1947, taiwan isn't part of the chinese history so i don't kno what you are talking about.

    taiwan has its own history.

and well, too bad, you should be happy because taiwanese is NOT chinese.

  • LOL!!! Taiwan has its "own" history before 1947???

Just out of curiosity what do you know about Taiwan before 1947?

  • well basically.. taiwan was controlled by japan somewhere in the late 1800s and early 1900s (japan had tried to put enough representation from taiwan in japan gov.. in 1945 just before losing WWII but failed)

before that taiwan was part of the qing dynasty for about two hundred years..and a little bit of the koxinga rule..

then dutch settled and established taiwan as its colony..but were driven away by koxinga

portugal came but didn't colonize taiwan and instead named the island formosa

  • So you have proven yourself wrong that Taiwan has its "own" history.

    Good job.

  • why? isn't all this considered taiwan history? it's the history of how taiwan came to be today and how it's culture came to be about..

tell me what i said wrong with a support. don't just say no.

  • Taiwan history is part of China's history.

  • Or you can refute it in Japanese since you considered Taiwanese is not Chinese.

  • wow, you need support, not just statement. how do you write an essay? or present your topic?

  • It's called common sense.

  • And BTW, Taiwan was a part of Fujian province before the Japanese takeover, which is another reason why Taiwan are mostly populated with Hoklo and Hakka people.

  • i said that, the koxinga rule. taiwan is most populated with min-nan people actually.

    so what's your point?

the the ancestors of japanese came from the land china and so were koreans.

americans came from europe..but you don't call them british, irish, german.. we just called them americans..

  • Ummm... yes... America is a land of Europeans...

  • i guess you don't know what i'm talking about. the americans' ancestors were british..etc.. but now.. they are americans.. they have a different way of thinking (attitude generally).. and taiwanese ancestors may or were han chinese but now they are taiwanese b/c they also have a set of their own attitudes

  • Yes, only a few like you had "that attitude".

We can use Jin Mei Ling for an example.

  • And besides, I think splitting up a country while kissing America's ass is what you want. Eh?

  • you mean a contry that's been split up for 50 to 60 years already? and why do we have to "kiss american's ass"?

  • China isn't split up yet, but it's you people who wanted to be like the Americans.

  • @teddex

min-nan people are han people part of China

anglos have a different case, they invaded another country, killed the natives and stole land.

Taiwan, is land that belongs to Chinese people not the KMT or the CCP.

  • @MyNameISfockYou

i dont know what you're trying to prove by making those claims but i could also make the claim that taiwan is a land that belongs to the aboriginals but no, this is a real fact: taiwan is a land that belongs to the taiwanese who are either chinese and or aboriginals who call taiwan home and who WOULD NOT let taiwan suffer and draagged taiwan into this stupid "the chinese civil war" that had nothing to do with taiwan from VERY BEGINNING.

  • @123456jkd

had nothing to do? You are incorrect

Taiwan is part of China, ROC, and Qing Dynasty. I could call Earth home, and say it belongs to me and nothing to do with the rest of the 180+ nations.

That is how absurd you sound.

  • @MyNameISfockYou

    was part of qing dynasty...

you dont get it. chinese civil war started somewhere in the 1920s or something like that, but it didnt matter the exact date because qing dynasty lost in the first sino-japanese war and thus taiwan was ceded to japan by the late 1800s, which meant whatever was going on in china from 1895 to 1945, taiwan took NO part, that included the establishment of ROC, and the communist party...etc then suddenly, the loser ROC came to Taiwan in 1947...tragic.

  • @123456jkd

and ironically with the help from US and its red scare -_- , ROC was able to occupy taiwan and taiwan welcomed ROC at first, but we now get why the communist party was established.. those ROC were pigs and corrupted (and taiwan knew nothing of it, BECAUSE, again, taiwan knew NOTHING of what was going on in china during 1985-1945. now taiwan may be democratic but those old ROC people do not love taiwan, do not love us the natives; they still cling onto china... sigh tragic tragic.

  • @123456jkd

You need to retake your history class, boy.

Taiwan was not ceded to japan, it was allowed to declare independence as "republic of formosa" but it was less then 6 months before the japanese invaded and stole it.

that was before the civil war

but after the second world war, the japs lost, and returned the island back to the Republic of China which was the first government of China.

the ROC lost the 3rd chinese civil war, which led them to retreat to Taiwan PROVINCE.

  • @MyNameISfockYou

ok taiwan was truly independent then shouldnt japan return taiwan to TAIWAN since that was what japan had stolen from?

japan gave taiwan to the ALLIES. Then the U.S. (who was terrified of communism at that time) allowed the weaken ROC to OCCUPY taiwan. ROC had imposed martial law, WOUNDED taiwan's people. U.S. acted as if nothing happened. Now taiwan asked for recognition but it's hard when ROC's the label. The world needs to stop tossing/toying taiwan around. Tragic

  • This is awesome I wish Canadian politicians were like this, I wanna see Jack Layton bang out Stephen Harper

  • Can Taiwan please elect some better fighters? Where are my Kungfu fighting legislaturers? I'd vote for the old guy with the Fu Manchu and one inch punch any day!

  • 30 dollars and 50 swissfranks for the DPP..

    any one want to bet?

  • OK, To those who dont understand Taiwan: these fights were almost daily like 20 years ago (when I was in grade school and I hated it). But eventually I understood why it was necessary when KMT was a big lazy and corrupted giant that was ruling Taiwan. For the last 15 years, we saw major progress and reform in our political freedom. The eventual popularity of DPP was the true voice of the people. (And ok, this channel is fair enough LOL) PS I also loved watching western fights they lost cool hehe

  • See what happens when you censor Ron Paul in the main stream media?

  • Some Kung Fu would be nice too, just shoes frowning and slapping is too boring.

  • i wish our legislature was as cool as this....

  • You kidding me, right? It looks like a child playground to me. It's fun to watch but I do no want to be govern by these people.

  • 笑・・・あぁあぁ。恥だ

  • dpp = shit!!...to Hell...

    [HOKKIEN]_{kaosai..siasui 'tiongkoklang'!!!}

Luckily they dont admit themself 'CHINESE', O'mi tho-fuo thank god!

  • so...

    ...

i s'pose this is how things are in Taiwan, eh? looks more like a flea market ta me than anythin'...

sorry there, i don't mean no offense. justa foreigner voicing out his opinion; if ya' know what i mean ;)

  • With now only 27 legislators, DPP clowns will get their asses kicked in any future brawls with KMT, 3 versus 1.

  • 阿扁头, 听到你的集结号了吗? 玩完了!!!

  • Preview to what it'd be like if the mainland becomes a democracy - only that the scale would be 1000 times larger.

  • This doesn't happen in the U.S., thankfully--instead, we have something called the filibuster, whereby a piece of legislation gets "talked to death" by an opposing faction. As a result of this and many other things, nothing really gets done over here. It's too bad, really. I'd love to see some catfights in the House of Representatives.

  • 中华民族 ha ha, very passionate。

  • i actually think that parliament fights are good...they show that the politicians actually care about where the country is heading.

  • HAHA, no. it also means the if the jerk who wants to raise taxes 2000% is a black belt, you're fucked.

  • Go Taiwan parliamentarians! There should be more of this great democracy in action!

  • 呵呵,很好,很民主.各位继续.

  • 這背景音樂好熟....

    是那首歌有誰能跟我講一下嗎

  • i think you will find that when most people talk about democracy they dont mention not fighting as somthing that defines i think that these people have the balls to stand up for what they believe in

  • i disagree. these fights are extremely passionate and can easily turn into murders and whatnot and actually deter someone from speaking their mind due to getting beat up. this is not democracy. this is rioting... w/ suits.

  • fight!!!

  • lol this video was flagged as inapropriate, stupid americans, they have kids shooting eachother in school, but can't show this vid to minors lmao, fucking hypocrites

  • Lol, that is too true.

  • lol. so true.

  • depressing:( but at the same time.. entertaining:)

  • what a farce!

  • 他们把儒家思想贯彻的很好嘛。。。

  • Well thats what happens when triads run the "country" and the parliament is full of gangsters. What a sham!

  • SHOE OWNAGE

  • wtf? aren't taiwanese our brothers?

  • omg!

  • FUGHTS FOR RIGHTS

this is just one way sometimes.

  • demcoracy! hahaa.....hehehehe~

  • you taiwanese want freedom! here you go!

  • look at these chink!!!!!!!!! And they want to rule China. hahahahahaha

  • I guess you rather rule in your little basement. hahahahaha

  • Yes, I agree with you. Those are Taiwanese. They are violent, aggressive and all bullies. They want not only to rule China but also the whole world! Their Taiwanese education is just another military brain-wash eduaction!

  • who wants to rule china? that's just the defeated KMT talk. don't use the minority as the majority of the taiwanese.

  • Actually sir, the DPP used the minority to advance their pathetic political ambitions, and honestly the aboriginals don't like it at all.

I don't like the KMT that much either, but you know you're lucky that you at least have something to get your stomach full.

  • umm "get my stomach full"? what do you mean by that? you mean w/o the KMT taiwan can't sustain itself?

  • Weren't you in Taiwan when CSB and his village idiots tried to isolate the whole territory for the last 8 years?

  • sorry, no. what's CSB? what happened?

  • So... you don't know who's Chen Shui-bian???

    Ohhhhh boy.

  • Oh, yea i kno him but i never seen anyone shorten his name to CSB,, i kno him by a-bian

    so what about him?

  • And you don't know about him...

    OMG!!!

    *Shakes head*

  • huh? this isn't aim where you chat with a word or so..

so what were you saying about him? i don't want to find your comment b/c i can't find what you were asking about our past president.

  • No Chinese living there and abroad, including the Taiwanese, would not know about ah-Bian and his 8 years as controversial ROC president, either in praise or in criticism.

  • And maybe if you know about him, I guess your don't want to talk about him. Because seriously, there's seriously nothing good about him besides a series of BS he did that led to the KMT sweeping the legislature and the presidency.

  • Actually, I agree on most of your points. I think the people who start fights should be kicked out of parliament permanently, but instead they enjoy diplomatic immunity. However, I think that when the people see what they're really like, they will be voted out. Most are one term only.

  • lol the back bone of the Taiwanese members of Parliament is the Taiwanese Triads or Mafia! the Mafia/Triad will just replace one M of P when one get kicked out!

  • You watch obviously too much "young and dangerous" movies

  • lol is a fact ! but good comparison! Taiwan politics are like the "YOUNG and The Dangerous" who ever win the FIGHT wins the country!

  • Taiwan is not a dictatorship, because the party in power can easily change as the result of an election. The point about dictatorships is that the people have no mechanism by which to replace a bad government except violence. But people in Taiwan have that mechanism. They have elections and a multiparty system.

  • ROC maybe a democracy, but if you looked pretty closely it's virtually a DPP dictatorship. If a president went under fire for corruption and faces a series mass protests and media frenzy, the proper protocol for a president is to step down at least temporary. Doesn't matter with your charged or not. Does ah-Bian did that? No. Mr. Ma stepped down after being charged of corruption, and that at least made him responsible and didn't blow his reputation.

  • What about the pan-blue majority parliament? Didn't the pan-greens realize that it's proper and democratic to hold debates, vote, and accept every results? No. Realizing that they're unable to defeat every single bill they oppose, they would proceed to fist fights and destroy the bill. Not democratic at all. Didn't the pan-greens realize that they shouldn't force impose their agendas and policies on the majority of people who never vote for them? No.

  • Democracy is suppose to be fair politics, and the DPP aren't playing fair.

  • Thanks for your comment! But you see Taiwanese are all criminals and crooks. They are violent, aggressive, bullies and domshit! Don't waste your time to write long comment here as they see you and know you are the one who wrote this, they kill you definitely!

  • I do not favor any political party. You seem to see the issue of Taiwan in terms of whether a political party supports independence from China or eventual unification. However, that is only one issue. I don't believe in deciding between parties based on a single issue like abortion, eventual unification, or whatever. The fact is, Taiwan is independent already. "Eventual" is a long time away. Parties can change their minds in the meantime.

  • Parties can change their minds in the meantime.

Oh sure, Lee Teng-hui got kicked off the KMT because of his views are at odds with the party he used to lead.

  • I do favour political parties that's almost in line with my views, so why not? Besides, every issues are important and should be focused. I favour the KMT because of their stance on national unity, international diplomacy, the economy, and other domestic issues. Other that that, KMT maybe once an authoritarian party but they bring in democracy that the DPP is "exploiting" right now.

  • Also, it's no secret that I support the CPC, but only 60 to 75 percent of the time.

  • The basic point is that you "know" all about Taiwan without listening to the opinions of Taiwanese or visiting Taiwan. You know their democracy is falling apart. So where do you get your information? And what do you expect for the future? Usually when democracies fall apart, a dictator takes over. So you expect a dicatorship in Taiwan soon?

  • The basic point is that you "know" all about Taiwan without listening to the opinions of Taiwanese or visiting Taiwan.

Yeah I know that, but why "visiting"? LOL?

You know their democracy is falling apart. So where do you get your information?

*Oh for the sake of fuck...

Sir, are you pretty sure you're not blind and not a pan-green supporter?

  • And what do you expect for the future?

If the KMT came back to power, Taiwan is safe. KMT and CPC are no longer enemies, so meaning having a KMT gov't will benefit Taiwan and the threat of war will subside. If DPP gets another 4 years (which they will never get anyway), then well, say your prayers...

  • Usually when democracies fall apart, a dictator takes over. So you expect a dicatorship in Taiwan soon?

Ummm... what are you seeing right now?

  • What's the relation? There are Chinese in every country. Does that make a relation? I mean that the PRC has never governed Taiwan. Some people like to mention Japanese war crimes from more than 60 years ago, when in China a political prisoner can wake up without his kidneys. They do operations on live inmates, even for foreigners. We don't need to talk about 60 or 70 years ago. Let's talk about now.

  • when in China a political prisoner can wake up without his kidneys. They do operations on live inmates, even for foreigners.

LOL? Are you sure you're not getting your information from The Epoch Times or NTDTV?

  • So Taiwan was ruled by the Dutch, Imperial China, which gave the island to Japan, by Japan, and finally by the ROC/KMT invaders. There is no relation between Taiwan and the PRC.
