read the article. They WERE TRESPASSING in a RESTRICTED area.
I once pulled up to the wrong side of the pentagon on trip to Washington. within minutes I was spotted as a car that wasnt supposed to be in that area and surrounded by security cars. They even brought a humvee with a machine gun on top. I wasnt even praying!!!11!!1 (lol) trespassing is bad no matter why you do it.

That YELLOW TAPE was put up BECAUSE the TWO PASTORS WERE PRAYING AT THE WHITE HOUSE. Everyone was ordered out of the area BECAUSE of their praying, but the pastors persisted. Sadly, under the current administration, the White House is "off limits" for prayer. This was the 2009 National Day of Prayer; Pres. Obama, unlike his predecessors, chose NOT to honor it. The two pastors, under previous administrations, have been invited to pray inside the White House on the Day of Prayer.

I think I would agree, Obama has sealed this country's fate. The ship to save you from this flood is Jesus Christ, things are not going to get better. People need to start listening, and know there is God who loves them. But judgment will come on those who don't accept Jesus Christ and turn to him and not themselves.

Can't pray anywhere on this land? Well get the word out, I'm sure 500 tea party people, maybe even 2500 would be glad to take a few minutes to pray in front of the white house, the supreme court. I remember when the Feds went after a school in Alabama, the town folk during a football game and the opposing team all all prayed on the football field and no one could do a thing about it.

Same thing happened when the feds told the Alabama Governor to remove the ten commandments from the court room, he told them to come down and remove it themselves he'll meet them on the steps with his national guard. They left him alone. So, that means what we already know, the fed is like OZ in the wizard of OZ, they hide behind a curtain and have a big microphone. They don't even know what their jobs are, the have overstepped their bounds and now the citizenry is making them back up.

Definitely not. I'm not saying we should compromise with evil but neither should we act rebelliously against authorities which were ordained by God. Not unless they forbid me to do what God has commanded me to do. I would say we ought to obey God rather than men in that case. But I think a better testimony could have been made without those signs.

Jesus criticized the Jewish leaders of the Temple stating: "You den of vipers" or another time He said: "You whited sepulchers - you only care for what is on the outside and not what is on the inside".
Jesus made a stand for what is right, when it was appropriate.
These men of God are not "rebellious", they are standing up for righteousness.

Historically speaking...it has been documented that Romans 13:1-4 was quoted and used by the Roman Catholic Church and Lutheran Church in Germany to support the NAZIsm.
You can do a web search and see Catholic priests and other clergy doing the "Seig Heil" salute to Hitler.
The sin of not standing up for what is "Right" is on the hands of those German "Christians" who supported their gov't and did not protect the Jews from being slaughtered or sent to Concentration camps.

To this day, many Jews that survived the NAZI Concentration Death Camps have a distrust for Christianity, due to the fact that their German "Christian" friends did not stand up for Righteousness and supported their leader in sending them to the camps.
I think that you might want to reconsider Romans 13 in the context it was written and for what circumstance it applies to.
(ie when the leader of the world states that you will have to take his mark - we should obey God rather than man.)

I realize that there was some resistance to the german nazi party (my apologies to those that have resisted) but the majority of the churches did quote: Romans 13 and unfortunately many within those churches complied.
Again sorry for lumping all of the German Christians together in one group. I tried to differentiate the group by putting quotation marks to differentiate those that just complied to the church and not to the Scriptures within proper context.

Such a bitter sweet event. Sweet that there are Godly men that will put their faith on the line and take a stand for a nation going astray. Yet so bitter that praying would lead to an arrest. What a shame. Shame on us for allowing our government to restrict the prayers of it's people.
We should show up in that very spot with 10,000 people to pray. And then 100,000 to pray until they realize that they can't stop us.
My heart is broken.

It's important to note, I believe, that when the persecution comes ... we will not be labeled as "Christians" (who of course are all inclusive and non judgmental) but as radicals, fundamentalists, fanatics, and terrorists.
In fact I wouldn't be surprised if in the future there is a "terrorist attack" purposely carried out in the name of "Christian fundamentalism" which will be used as a pretext and justification for our suppression and persecution.
