I love his turban and clothed armor so much I wish I had them irl. Him protecting Gohan from Nappa's blast will always be my favorite Piccolo moment. :)

@Remememea Ikr? Piccolo was my first favorite DBZ character when I first got into the series (now it's Cooler). If I had clothing similar to Piccolo's, I'd likely move far away from any town to a country side, and spend most my days meditating near a waterfall in the silence of nature.

If you think Piccolo is one of THE bad ass's in DBZ then you have proved that you been watching since the original -Dragon Ball- you then have proved your you been a fan and all ways will be! It was amazing to see one of the world most Evil in history of Dragon Ball, to show compassion then you think wow! ween you see him change. I cried a bit ween he died in GT it basically killed it for me :(. Not to mention Gohan cry to see one of his dad's die. Battle cry "LONG LIVE PICCOLO!!!"

Piccolo is easily the best character in my opinion. He allied with Goku pretty much starting the DBZ fighters group, Killed Raditz, Trained Gohan, Led the fighters while Goku was dead, coordinated the response to the Androids arrival, taught Goten and Trunks Fusion, and damn near almost locked Buu in the time chamber.

If Piccolo was as strong as Goku or Vegeta, he would have Whomped on them lol

and because the majority of db/z/gt fans like the saiyans, they removed him by being trapped in hell/killing him off. so that all the db/z/gt fans can watch are the saiyans.

that's why i don't like this anime that much anymore. there's too much emphasis on the saiyans and especially goku.

Just because Piccolo is less powerful than the saiyans doesn't make him worthless. He has what most of the other, stronger, characters don't have....or use....INTELLIGENCE! He is by far the smartest of the characters and his brains come in handy many times more than the raw power of the saiyans. And, yes I think Piccolo is awesome too.

Yes, and in a way he's like Vegeta where he used to be one of Goku's deadliest enemies but eventually became one of his most valuable allies. Piccolo is an awesome character because while he seems cold and unfriendly he actually has a good heart and is an excellent teacher because he knows when to be stern and when to be more lenient with his students (Gohan, Goten, + Trunks). But to be honest I think they should do a 'what if' episode where piccolo teaches videl to fly instead of Gohan.
