I cried the day Elvis died. My husband & our 3 kids & I were 55 miles from his Graceland. We tried to get there but traffic was stopped over 50 miles in all directions. We had to leave & get back on the road. My 2 girls cried, too.

this is my favorite song when I was dieing of terminal cancer when my children were young its how I wanted them to remember me. Just before I was supposed to die the Lord healed me. My mother  Nancy Louise loved roses so much. When she died on July 28th, 2007 each of her 9 children put a rose on her grave, to represent our love for her.

I remember especially Christmas time listening to his music it made the season feel so good.

Elvis still is a part of the family, even after Mothers passing.

I am very blessed to still have my mom, but she is getting up there and she has really been trough a lot in the past year. I callhe long distance and talk to her everyday and tell her I love her.

THANK YOU so much for sharing this beautiful video. Last year (2008) I shared it with my family and friends on Mother's Day. Many of them had never heard the song before but they ALL loved it and commented on your choice of photos. My parents owned a greenhouse and flower shop so roses have always been part of my life. It makes me think of them when I hear a beautiful voice sing with such feeling. Like so many others-I will always love ELVIS!
