I am an avid fan and have sang the sugar honey and iced tea out of that song in my living room every fri nite for the last 10 yrs and all i can say was...That song was a wonderful shuttle prepared to launch into out of space and the booster could not propel the shuttle off the ground. The most important aspect to any animate and living organism is the pulse. The boom. The heartbeat. It sounds as though the drummer could not seem to rise to the occassion. the drummer dragged the song down

You should post your version on YT. . .LOL. . .Yeah, I don't think the bad was the best throughout the tour. I think they should've been backed by a real rock band, like The Roots. Then again, I think the tour was a strain on all the "girls", except, maybe Nona.

great singer, Patti is...we all know that. But she's also a very smart singer. Some will say that they cant sing 'up there' like they used to, in particular Sarah/ Patti. Some of that is true, with them being in their 60's. But I noticed on this song, where she should have 'sang higher', she restrained herself. The clips that I saw on here show her ''pacing herslef''. Given the length of the show, thats a smart move. They're just very smart vocalists. A tour has got to take it out of u..

Hum, nitkpick? Wouldn't you rather see her comfortable on stage? I don't know about you and your sight but she's obviously struggling through this song. I'm aware that she wants to please her fans but I'd rather her be healthy and enjoying her life at her age. Trying to do what she did 30 years ago in effort to please Labelle fans just ain't the way to the cross.

I don't think it has anything to do with the heels. During this particular song I think her blood sugar level may have dropped a little. So she took it a little easier. Patti can walk in heels in her sleep. I do want her healthy but walking around in flats won't change the fact that she's diabetic. Just my opinion.

Actually, it was good to hear Patti sing "Somebody Somewhere" mid-range (almost like in the original), even if she was tired as she appeared to be. Sarah was doing her best but I think, well, the ladies of Labelle can't do this song any better than the ever did it.  No one should have expected they could. . .and no one could do it any better. . . ;-) Or maybe you should have gotten up there and sang it Mr. Trienholdmymule LOL

The show was good, Patti's voice was excellent as it has been all of the shows that I've seen put the energy was lacking. I really think that Patti should give up the heels, dress in something cooler and maybe she will have more pep. I know about her medical condition and her age but you can really tell that she's burned out if you are aware of the true LaBelle sound.

Just the fact that they are reunited, doing new music, and touring is to be commended. They sound & look tremendous. No other female group could do it without being an oldies act. Labelle is in a league all of their own, and always were. I won't nitpick about it. We're lucky to have Labelle back together doing it so great too!

I was lucky enough to be in the tenth row of the orchestra for this. Patti's voice was truly stunning and even better than the last few times I've seen her. Sarah's voice was also pretty amazing, but the biggest surprise for me was just how amazing Nona was - at 65, she had the body of a 35 year old, she looked beautiful and again, her voice was so strong. An amazing night - totally uplifting

When Sarah and Nona sang this on Patti tribute I thought ok, but Patti just leading the vocals on this song she puts this song in a complete another level .... Patti is musical GENIUS GENIUS she is soulful, she brought funky soul and good stuff to Labelle songs!
