  • i am so interested in hypnosis, i wish i could be a test subject lol

  • so when in a state of sleep by hypnosis is the person able to wake up by physical contact? or just when u say so?

  • @Zhinzhu Hypnotists tend to use sleep terms when describing hypnosis and when hypnotizing people. However, a person who is hypnotized is not actually sleeping. Hypnosis is a state of intense concentration and relaxation that looks like sleep; but, while hypnotized, a person remains aware of his/her surroundings.

There are many ways to "wake" a person from hypnosis (to end the hypnotic state). You can use physical contact or words to end the hypnotic state.

  • hahaha thats some funny ass shit bro

  • what if he made him forget his name and left him thee ?

  • He would eventually pull out his wallet and remind himself of his name. If he didn't have an ID or anything with his name written on it, then one of two things could occur: (1) If he was not around anyone who knew him, then he could possibly create a reinforcing mental loop that would continue to convince him that he didn't know his name. OR...

  • ...(2) If he found people who knew him, then once he had been reminded of his name and after he had a chance to have his name reinforced (by familiar people with whom he has strong, positive rapport), then he would remember his name.

  • where did you learn this? how do i learn this?

  • I teach throughout the USA and Europe. Check out my website ParadoxHypnosis(dot)com and join my Hypnosis Newsletter for more information, discussions and tips on how to do hypnosis.

  • That is absolutely amazing. :D

  • How come the guy scratches his leg at 6:40?

  • A person can move while hypnotized without disrupting the state--similar to sleep (like someone swatting a fly off his nose while sleeping on an outdoor porch of a house--and remaining asleep). He scratches his leg merely because he felt an itch.

People often are under the mistaken belief that a person in hypnsois stays in a coma-like state. On the contrary, a hypnotized person can hear, talk, move, walk, run, laugh, scratch, etcetera while remaining fully and deeply hypnotized.

  • I wonder if you know somehow how to do entrance while sleeping ,and if yes I really want a test and how we can get in touch

  • Yes, the state of hypnosis can be created from natural sleep. However, such methods should be used only when you have the consent of the volunteer who will be hypnotized during sleep.

You asked how you can get in touch with me. You can visit my website at:

ParadoxHypnosis(dot)com. My phone number and email address are both listed in the "Contact Us" section of the website.

  • haha you can hear the icecream truck in the background...

  • "Is it Italian? Are you tired?" Lol!

  • KC2XL, when you say spontaneous amnesia, you mean forgetting more that what the suggestion said? Can I cause harm, eg memory problems to someone through hypnosis? The situation I have in mind - the suggeston will be to forget 4, he comes to normal, he does not remember, then I get him to hypnotic trance again and suggest to him to remember again. Can it have any side effects?

  • is this real? how did he just fall asleep like that?

  • i want to learn hypnosis, do u know any site or something like that?

  • I wonder if he uses that on girls he wants to sleep with

  • When you hypnotize people, do they even remember what has just happened? After they are un-hypnotized?

  • They remember everything that happens. UNLESS you give them the suggestion that they won't (:

  • There are 2 forms of amnesia that occur under hypnosis: spontaneous amnesia (SI) and induced amnesia (IA).

Some people will (without any prompting from the hypnotist), completely forget some or all of what occurs under hypnosis. This is called spontaneous amnesia (SA).

Also, amnesia can happen due to a suggestion by the hypnotist. This is called induced amnesia (IA).

Although IA can cause long term or permanent amnesia, SA is more profound and is generally permanent if not disrupted.

  • KC2XL, when you say spontaneous amnesia, you mean forgetting more that what the suggestion said? Can I cause harm, eg memory problems to someone through hypnosis? • WOW, that's cool!!!

I was lookng around for stuff to watch and learn when i came about this video. It made me feel kinda weird inside but ... interesting.

    There's a few things that i'm x sure about.

Is this hypnosis thingy real or just another video trick?

Have these people been rehearsing before the shoot?

Can u tell me more about it?

  • I love how he properly pulls on the guy to get him into a trance

  • How or where did you learn this?

I've been reading all over the internet.

  • I have been studying hypnosis formally since a bit before 1994 (around 1992/1993). In 1994, I was certified as a Hypnotherapist by the American Board of Hypnotherapy and later recertified internationally by the International Association for Councellors and Therapists.

If you want to be a good hypnotist, continue to study hypnosis information. Most importantly, continue to practice regularly. You will learn most by personally hypnotizing people and taking note of what does and doesn't work.

  • Will he remember 4?????? i want to be hypnotized.

  • Yes, because I properly removed the amnesia suggestion, he easily remembers the number 4.

  • and sleep!

  • Is hypnosis real?, I don't think it is and I would love for someone to prove me wrong (I realy do)cause I would love to learn it.

  • Yes, as presented here on my YouTube page, hypnosis is real. It is a naturally occuring state of concentration. A hypnotist merely induces this state and (in traditional hypnosis) deepens the state of hypnosis by using relaxation and other tools to focus/intensify concentration.

Hypnosis is often misrepresented on television and the movies (as are most subjects) in order to create/heighten drama or comedy for a story. So, the dramatized TV and movie versions of hypnosis are not accurate.

  • SLEEP nice job KC2XL this is awesome and i wish i could learn to do that

  • I have a question. Im going to do a senior project on hypnotism and i want to know how do u like practice? i mean wouldnt it be weird to just go out and try it on someone? If u wan just Private Message me

  • You can practice hypnosis by asking people if they are willing to be hypnotized by you. Make sure you have full consent before attempting to hypnotize anyone. Also, always follow hypnosis ethics and safety rules when using hypnosis.

Best of luck on the project. Please let me know how it turns out.

  • oh what's that?

you're tired? huh? is that right?

well..let me just let you go back to

    SLEEP!!!!!!

    LMAO

  • i wonder if he wants to baby sit? lol!

  • Ha ha, good one!

  • Teach me your ways master.

  • Wow that was amazing, you are very talented. I have a question. If someone, for example, had a severe case of social phobia, could they be instantly changed through hypnosis?

  • Thank you. I'm glad you're enjoying my YouTube page.

In order to illustrate my point, think of hypno-counseling as an excelerated form of psychotherapy (Note: hypnosis is not psychotherapy, but they have some similarities). Hypno-counseling can help immensely within one session. Sometimes it takes more sessions. Depending on the complexity of the issue, many clinets notice a significant improvement within 1-6 sessions.

In 1958, the AMA approved hypnosis for medical and psychological use.

  • Wow thats really interesting. I'd love to try it, but I'd imagine it would be very costly xD

What about things like learning and memory? Can they be improved via hypnotherapy?

  • Yes, hypnosis can help with learning and memory. Hypnosis is a state of concentration similar to meditation. As you strengthen your ability to concentrate, you strengthen your ability to learn and memorize.

To learn more about how hypnosis can be applied to various issues, I recommend you read the Home Page and the Fact/FAQs section of my website which is located at: ParadoxHypnosis(dot)com

  • Wow thats great, thanks for the help, I will be sure to check it out.

  • You might also want to join my free Newsletter. You can join through the "contact us" section of my website.

My newsletter has various information in it including Q&A and various hypnosis tips. I hope you join us!

  • Excellent video, KC, but I have a question: What would have happened if you had asked him a math question where 4 was the answer? What would his reponse be or would he even be able to respond?

  • okay wtf did i jsut watch?

    ahaha lmao.. funny though

  • Can this sort of thing be used for long term behaviour modification like kicking bad habits, etc?

  • Yes, hypnosis is approved by the AMA (American Medical Association) for the issues you've asked about. In order to learn more, please visit my website at:

    ParadoxHypnosis(dot)com

  • is this real?

  • Yes.

  • Hey KC

I love how you had him associating a deep sense of relaxation ,comfort and sleep within the location you guys where at which was the park. For some reason I never noticed that part where you are talking to him before. Great stuff as always

  • Thank you. One of the things I have enjoyed most about posting these videos is getting emails and comments from people who are watching the videos while they are studying hypnosis. As these viewers learn more about hypnosis, they find more of the subtleties in the videos that aren't apparent to the untrained eye. It's like an Easter egg hunt--They get very excited when they find new things in the videos.

My best wishes to you, your family and your new hypnosis practice!

  • Is there TeleHypnosis? As in, can you hypnotize someone through video?

  • Yes, you can hypnotize someone via various media. However, the best way to experience hypnosis is to work with a skilled hypnotist in person because there are signals (such as touch, subtle body language, certain forms of indirect suggestion, etc.) that are not appropriate or effective via phone, video or audio alone. Also, only in person is the hypnotist able act on subtle behavior exhibited by the client/volunteer that can change the direction of the hypnosis session to make it more effective.

  • KC2XL:

Does he remember the number 4 or his name after you count to 10? Was it the way you worded it?

Please explain in the best way you possibly can!

  • He experienced induced amnesia, which means he temporarily could not remember the nubmer 4 or his name due to his receiving a suggestion from me while he was in a state of hypnosis.

  • does it actually work on everyone?

  • Anyone who can concnetrate and follow directions can be hypnotized. Exceptions (those who cannot) are severly menatally and/or emotionally challenged.

  • Not always I know a person who can't be hypnotized, they have no mental problems they just don't respond to suggestions in a trance

  • Traditional hypnosis is not always the way to initially handle a "resistant" client. Anyone who responds to advertising or has formed an opinion due to being persuaded by a teacher or a peer is suggestible and has the ability to be hypnotized.

The person you mentioned would most likely be able to enter traditional hypnosis, after first experiencing waking hypnosis (induced by a hypnotist), which is a naturally occurring state (hypnoidal) in any normally functioning person.(continued below)

  • Also, the person you mentioned might not have been adequately informed about hypnosis, thus he could be harboring misconceptions and fears about hypnosis that make him temporarily resistant. Once those misconceptions and fears are adequately addressed (if they exist), then he would enter a state of traditional hypnosis easily—if this turned out to be what was making him resistant. (continued below)

  • As I've said many times in the comment sections under my videos, hypnosis seems easy on the surface, but there is far more to it, especially when dealing with a "resistant" client/volunteer.

  • lmao "da fu... " hahah

  • you know after watching these vids I started learning hypnosis thank-you for the inspiration

  • wish i could do that to my girlfriend lol

  • KC2XL: Just a question at about 5:50 there is the sound of an ice cream truck going by. couldn't it be true that right now that boy has an anchor bored in his head and doesn't even know it? like every time here hears that tune from an ice cream truck he imediatly gets that sleepy feeling. watch the video from 5:50 to the end and it seems almost to perfect to not be an anchor it's seconds before u tell him how he's feeling and continues untill he is out cold.

  • If this is possible would u might have to go and find this kid and help him out as there are other anchors in there as well such as the guy whistling. idk seems to me it would be a little troublesum if every time some one whistled I fell asleep.

  • Anchors are more complicated than having two things incidentally occur simultaneously. Conditioning must occur to establish strong responses to anchors.

When extreme emotion is involved, incidental happenings can be anchored, such as touching someone during an abreaction. However, music playing in the background only once during an induction is generally not a strong enough relationship to create an anchor. If the music played each time I said sleep, then that could establish a stong anchor.

  • ok cool, I thought because of the state he was in that the music would act as an anchor but It makes sense that unless u physically touched him or the music was repeated. thanx for clearin it up for me. btw love the vids keep em coming KC =).

  • KC2XL:

its hard to believe that someone can get sleep so easily I want you to explain me a little if the person that has been hypnotised have some kind of problem in the future .. i am from Peru and here nobody khows this kind of stuff very well, so... btw amazing video thanks hope your answer ..

  • If a hypnotist properly, skillfully, ethically and safely uses hypnosis with the well-being of the client in mind, then it is doubtful that it will cause harm to the volunteer or client. However, hypnosis can cause harm when it is done sloppily and/or in disregard for the client's safety and health.

  • What if he forgot how to walk. ¿Can that even happen?

  • so completley and fully lol

  • poor kid

    no idea about his name

    priceless face.

    Nice job KC2XL

  • thats sweet i wonna be hypnotized

  • Can you erase information from someone's head forever ?

  • A person's ability to access (remember) certain types of information can be blocked by hypnosis, but the information still exists in his/her brain. For example a person might have repressed (blocked out) a traumatic event from his/her memory. However, subconsciously he/she might still act on that blocked information, which could manifest in forms of phobias, unhealthy interpersonal interaction, etcetera. (Continued below)

  • WARNING: Unless you are trained adequately, do not attempt to erase or block a person's memory. Doing so can cause severe problems if not handled correctly by a qualified professional.

  • it doesnt work...i tried that on my bro..but it didnt work

  • I'm going to yell out sleep and tackle people on the streets. Thanks for the tips.

  • HA! i saw what you did! Hypnosis MY EYE!

    it was the Vulcan grip!

  • all of your vidoes make me feel weird inside but it is a good kind of weird

  • Okeerf, you are listed as 13 years old. So, you're probably just feeling the same kind of excitement that you feel when you learn something new in school--like reading a good book or learning a new subject. Talk to your parents about the things you see on YouTube so they can help you stay safe on the internet.

  • KC2xL, do you have a video of the elemn Induction? or you ever done that?

If you did can you please tell me where I can find the video.

I wanna see you do it, not other hypnotist.

    Thank You.

  • Sorry I meant Eleman Induction

  • Well done man. Only if everybody was sensitive like you. Great!!!

  • Sleep :)

  • Thanks for posting the fact of your preconditioning talk with him. Too many people believe erroneously one can walk up on and instantly, deeply hypnotize strangers with just a snap, shouting "SLEEP!" or jerking their arm from a handshake.

    BLAZE

  • Blaze, there are instances where a person can instantly reach a medium to deep state of hypnosis with a shock induction or a pattern interrupt (with less than 30 seconds of pre-talk), but you have to have the right circumstances--there has to be an acceptable level of rapport and appropriate expectation/understanding in place. Sometimes, this takes a few seconds to establish; other times, it takes a few minutes.

  • You and I both know that;s the fact Jack; hypno-junkies and aspiring newbie hypnotists believe otherwise and act (dangerously IMHO because such "attacks" on strangers borders on assault like Win E's videos).

    BLAZE

  • thanks for the advice i will check it out.

  • I've seen a few of these vids and I can definitely say I'm a major fan

  • how do i get started?

  • wow this is amazing im realy intrested in hypnotism.

  • wow cool

  • CLARIFICATION: This video contains a volunteer who had seen me hypnotize his friends before and was eager to be hypnotized. While chatting with him on the way to the park, via conversational/waking suggestions I merely reinforced his strong beliefs that he just needed me to tell him to sleep for him to fall deeply into hypnosis. His belief system surrounding my ability to knock him out quickly was so strong and his expectation was so high, that he fell out quickly when I told him to "sleep."

  • This is a great video. I hope you will show the early prep conversation in the future.

  • Great video KC

How you been sent you a couple of messages a while back. Great video as always

  • Excellent job, my friend. This is definitely something I gotta learn more about! :)

  • Hey brother man with the master plan. You remember me. I like you do "Street Hypnosis" too. I'm actually a "Street Magician" (10 years now) but have done that and Psychic Entertaining 16 years. Just this past summer. I sit people down in a chair, do my 10 minute induction, (Not fast like you), and I do 5 routines. A crowd gathers, and I make good tips. Hats off brother, Ed.

  • nice to see another video from you

i've been practiceing speeding up my inductions, and finaly had a little sucess

  • As usual my friend, SPECTACULAR! There is more here than meets the average eye but I caught it. I am becoming more and more impressed. Keep up the great work!!

  • His technique would be great for police to subdue a suspect in a non-violent way.

  • Kd im a Law Enforcement student and learning Hypnosis.

  • WOW how nice...I would like to see the Covert Hypnosis part also...BUT DAMM its nice ;-)

  • Man ,I am glad to see your video- in all the years of following hypnosis I have never seen a brother Hypnotist. Too Cool

  • wrhgrace,

LOL You're right, I haven't seen many of us doing this.

  • This is one of the greatest videos ever.

I did my first stage hypnosis lastnight and the first thing I did was "forgeting the number 6" and it was great and I did other things as well.

But I really like this video.

    Luis

  • Luis,

Thanks and congratulations on doing your first show! Isn't it a great feeling?

If you have any footage of it please post it and let me know it's on line.

  • Hey i love the new videos. I can't wait to see more from this series. do you have any more body builder videos as they are my favourite of all your hypnosis videos. Keep up the good work.

  • You named it "Street Hypnosis Series", does that mean there are going to be more of these...

  • Yes, There will be more.

  • I just read about this series in the other video... The only thing I can say is... "Go for more haircuts"...! Haha... Love your videos...

  • LOL. I'm glad you like the videos!

I have a lot of raw footage from private sessions and street hypnosis sessions. Some of the video footage is being reserved to be shown only at the new hypnosis classes that I will be teaching. Other footage will be posted here or included only in a DVD series that will be accompanied by voice-over commentatry and text.

  • Ah i only nagged you like 2 days ago and you delivered =P

Great stuff KC. I really enjoy your videos. Your inductions are awesome.

  • LOL. Thanks! I'm glad you're enjoying the videos.

  • KC2XL i dont know if you got my message... im a Law Enforcement student but im trying to get certified to use it in the Law Enforcement feild or other wise to help me with Covert suggestion to get things out of people certain suspects and such to help in the feild.

  • Bigturns33,

Covert hypnosis can be an effective tool when used with proper interrogation methods. However, you could obtain excellent leads or valid information using hypnotic techniques and at the same time harm your own case.

Take time to read about forensic hypnosis before you use hypnotic techniques during investigations. There are specific ways hypnosis can be used in gathering admissible information from witnesses, suspects, etcetera.
