It's hard to get better as a fighter when out of your 4 years in MMA, 2 of them are spent in and out of the hospital with little training and fight activity. I give respect to Lesnar for even having the guts to try MMA and risking the embarrassment of losing in front of millions of people. And it's not like the guy fought against no nobodies. The guy has been fighting top 10 competitors since the beginning, minus Min Soo Kim, while still being green to the sport.

Brock went 4-3 in the UFC. (Had 1 fight out the UFC)

And he was 1-2 in his last 3 losing his last 2 and could have very well been 0 and 3 if the Carwin fight wasn't allowed to go longer. He wasn't great, he wasn't horrible he did alot in 8 MMA fights. If he didn't have diverticulitis I think he would have fought longer.

Anyone who has watched Overeem carve up strikeforce/pride/k1 and who has watched ufc fights knows Lesnar was going to get his ass whooped. Sorry Dana, that includes you. This was the equivalent of a testimonial to give Brock a payday before his retirement, and to build-up some hype before the fight that matters, Overeem vs Dos Santos. All of that is fine, its the nature of the beast. But to feign surprise at the outcome is to think that us as fans are either stupid, ignorant, or very gullible.
