Terrific! Subtle moves compared to when dancing w/Magna, but elegant and a joy to watch. Been going to Miami from NYC for decades and thought that the focus was on Rueda, but looks like Salsa Karibe and Yuca and other places have changed all that. Will be looking for lessons next trip--if I could spin 1/25th as good as Jose Luis I would be in heaven. Great that you continue with classic Chamaco Ramirez numbers like Planta La Bandera.
What a fabulous dance! You really looked like you were having fun and not focusing so heavily on the mechanics, which to my eye appeared flawless. You didn't look like a dance student, but a dancer. I could imagine you two in a club out on the floor wowing onlookers.
