it took me a while to understand why this video was displaying Mac OSX instead of Windows Vista. Then I noticed something. Everything that was covered in the Vista demo was being "stolen" from the OSX demo. It was pretty funny. I actually understood the emphasis that was put on the year "2002". It shows once again that PC's put their users in the "future"(past) while the Mac put's it's users into the FUTURE(now and beyond).

Here's a question I never get answered. Why is it whenever Mac people show a windows crash screen (aka Stop Error aka Blue Screen Of Death), they ALWAYS, WITHOUT EXCEPTION show a Windows 98/95 Blue Screen? Why do they never show a BSOD from the past ten years? You know, if Mac people weren't such dicks, maybe PC owners would consider switching. PCs are better for word processing and spreadsheets, and always have been. Macs are better for video/audio/image/media production, always have been.
I only say PCs are better for word processing and spreadsheets because MS Office sucks on Mac (all MS products for Mac are pretty poor) and that's considered the de-facto standard. I was wrong when I said they always where though, because the very first spreadsheet software was for the Apple II.

Okay, to mediate the children, both of Apple and PC: Vista has some very obvious similarities to OSX. Well, perhaps this is because there are just a few things that can only be done in a certain way.There may be some analogues in Vista to some features in OSX, but that is all they are. And with Vista, the design teams have gotten their act together. Many users won't be able to 'see' the critical improvements so much as they will benefit from them.
macs are slow, windows vista won't be, especially with the new pc hardware (that macs are starting to buy). Macs even advertise that you can use their computers as pcs (because they are pcs). it's all just a way to sell pcs without actually saying so.
The newest Macs run XP faster than any stock PC! I hope you don't believe the Mhz myth! Vista will require most people to upgrade machines, but older Macs have a habit of running faster with the newer OS's. Yes you can run Windows (and linux) on a Mac (faster than most PCs), and you can also run OS X... so why would you buy anything else?
Apple like to claim "Macs don't crash"... they do, it's a lie, but they don't crash anywhere near as often as Windows. In fact the only times I've ever seen any Mac crash (mine at home, the 8 my dad owns, or the 30 Macs at college) is when they're using Word or IE... Microsoft's Mac department are to blame for that. And the whole point of a Mac is that you don't need stupid editing tools, and you can still produce better stuff.

macs are slow, windows vista won't be, especially with the new pc hardware (that macs are starting to buy). Macs even advertise that you can use their computers as pcs (because they are pcs). it's all just a way to sell pcs without actually saying so.

The newest Macs run XP faster than any stock PC! I hope you don't believe the Mhz myth! Vista will require most people to upgrade machines, but older Macs have a habit of running faster with the newer OS's. Yes you can run Windows (and linux) on a Mac (faster than most PCs), and you can also run OS X... so why would you buy anything else?

Apple like to claim "Macs don't crash"... they do, it's a lie, but they don't crash anywhere near as often as Windows. In fact the only times I've ever seen any Mac crash (mine at home, the 8 my dad owns, or the 30 Macs at college) is when they're using Word or IE... Microsoft's Mac department are to blame for that. And the whole point of a Mac is that you don't need stupid editing tools, and you can still produce better stuff.

my mac is way faster than my winxp,searches done in a couple seconds-windows about ten minutes or more (depending on size of hd)
