What Dominic lacked in perfection, he compensated with bravura. Props to him for playing the piece from memory, and for blowing on through a couple of rough spots. That is what being "a musician" is about.
Wow, DOM I just got your message telling me to F*$K off because I said:
"Cornets are not better than trumpets. Trumpets have more brilliance of sound when played well. It's just not as easy as the cornet. That being said, neither is easy."
I was merely responding to the comments of PurplePirateHat, SarahhhJanee, and SuperDan310. I wish you nothing but the best. Cheers!

Awesome no mistakes im in middle school and "I" can'teven play that good. Nice work on those notes above the "G".Keep trying hard dude :D :) :O ;O :0 ;0
@Chriz218 There are mistakes. If you listen carefully, notes are missed. Also there are problems with the accompaniment playing in time to the soloist. That being said, it is an excellent performance, especially for a 12 year old. I played this at 14 so I know the music well. Rarely did I perform the entire piece without missing at least one note. I still enjoy playing this today, and while I differ with some portions of the interpretation, I commend Dominic for his performance.
WOW. I know college students who can't play this well. American school systems tend to start kids really young but not develop skills until they're older, leading to bad habits. This kid got it right...
thats a cornet i played till grade 5 cornets are smaller with a mellower sound and trumpets are more jazzy personally i think a trumpet is easier to play cos u dont have to blow as hard but i had good fun playing the cornet for 8 years
Dude i totally played this in 8th grade for solo and ensemble...aced it :P ... could use a little touching up in certain spots like the triple tonging but all in all it was beautiful
Excited to play this on my euphonium!

Is that cornet or trumpet? I wanna get one of them but not sure which one is better. The cornet sounds better to me, but looks kind of funny :P
Great playing by the way, fantastic!
