@IGfunGR it's an experimental rifle it's probably the first that is insane has a vetical sliding breech instead of a straight one -_- and instead of extracting the casing when the bolt comes back is stays in when the next one is fed it pushed the empty casing out above the barrel it's called the TKB-022
@NSixtyFour If Abakan is the only assault rifle your looking for, I suggest you search for it and find another video, instead of leaving stupid comments.
@GodHatesWar whoa man dont get it twisted, you have an awesome video here! i even pressed the like button. I see your reply as a little stupid though seeing as you can delete any comment on here ,and i'm not the only person with that opinion. just speaking my mind. peace
@NSixtyFour Im not twisted, I just getting tired of everyone complaining that the Abakan is missing when it clearly says so in the beginning of the video. ;-)
Man how could you forget about the AN-94 Abakan? That weapon is now used in large number by russian armed forces and have a 1800 RPM rate of fire when firing in 2 round burst. Don't this call your attenction?
IMO, germany has the best guns out of anyone, and yes the ak was heavily based off of the MP-43, but the russians make damn good guns. the ak isnt as accurate as it could be, but you could send the thing to hell and back and it would work fine.
@PetePhamous well the ONLY thing they have in common is the look kinda and the gas operation system haha but really they don't have to be exactly the same for kalashnikov to be inspired by
@PetePhamous and the designer of the mp44 (can't remember his name to complicated for me haha) worked at the same place Kalashnikov did when he was improving the ak-47 so that's a big hint that the mp44 is more part of the ak-47 than the stg-44
WRONG. exact same gas system is used THROUGHOUT HK platforms, and g3 is one of the closer things to mp44 than ak is. the reciever on mp44 is very identical to the fal and g3 platform.
WRONG. hugo schmisser was taken to russia, and he worked in TULA, while kalashnikov worked in IZNEVSK. 2 different cities.
Wiki sources claim that hugo was in iznevsk when russian documentaries say he is in TULA. and the ak design was almost finalized in 1946, and was submitted to the soviet officials with a better tweaked out ak, which was called ak47#1, submitted in 1947. So not sure how much schmisser helped in 1946 when kalashnikov started design in 1944 up until 1946*which was when it was finalized*.
@PetePhamous i know the receiver hell they look actually pretty much the same but instead the g3 does not have the wooden stock and hand guard people probably can EASILY get confused with both of the rifles there pretty damn similar i never said anything about the HK g3 OR fal i was just saying the ONLY thing the ak-47 has the stg-44 does is the gas operation system that's what i was saying hell the m1-garand is just as similar to the ak as the stg-44 since it uses the m1-garands locking lug
wooden or plastic stock does not make a single difference, look at how the g3 was in early 1950s on first 2 pics on wiki, how the stock comes off JUST like the stg, when ak has a totally different disassembly procedure. Mikhail said the stg only influenced him but it stops only at the IDEA. 2 weapons use 2 different mechanisms. rotating vs tilting bolts.
@PetePhamous ok im confused kinda but yeah i NEVER said the ak-47 was basically the stg-44 i know it was just an influence i said that the mp-44 has more components in the ak-47 than the stg-44 does
Ak-47 is an incorrect name for the Kalashnikov, since the 1947 version was just a prototype. Besides, in Russia we just call it калаш, thats short for калашников = Kalashnikov.
@GodHatesWar Ok, thats a difficult question. If you refer to the rifle built exactly in 1947 then you'd want to use AK-47. But there were changes made to it since that is called the AKM. Even further changes in the gun made in the 70s created the AK-74. Of course, a rifle made based on the same sketch would still be an AK-47, but I doubt Russia uses that gun any more.
@AisKrim43 Simple : "AK-47" doesn't exist, it's a pure common term used by people. In russian nomenclatura, this is that : AK (3 models unofficialy known as type1 (1949), type2 (1951), type3 (1953)), and variants AKS and AKN (folding and rail for night vision optic); then improved rifle named AKM (type1 1959, type2 1961), and variants AKMN, AKML, AKMS, AKMSN; then new caliber 5,45 : AK-74 (1976-1985) and derivates AK-74N, AKS-74, AKS-74N; then improved variant AK-74/2 (1986-1990)
@AisKrim43 With synthetic furniture of plum color, and derivates AK-74N2, AKS-74/2, AKS-74N2; then AK-74/3 (black furniture, 1990-1993), derivates AK-74N3, AKS-74/3, AKS-74N3; and finally the AK-74M (1992-2???) with integrated rail, folding plastic stock on which are based the AK-100 series. 3 outsiders : AKS-74U, and derivates AKS-74UN, AKS-74UB short carbine; modern AK-9 9x39mm caliber, and modern AK-200 tactical AK-74M with shortened barrel.
Woo! Go AK-105! My favorite gun! But if I were making this video, I would have put the Ukrainian VEPR in there to see if anyone noticed that ti wasn't Russian, =D.
@TigerMeet2142 nope, it's only for export to NATO countries that still want to use Kalashnikov Series assault rifles or those who are familiar with the handlings of the AK47
i don't understand what the diference between the 9A-91 and an VSK-94 they utilize the same magazines, they have the same recievers, can anyone tell me the differences?
@ERF420 Yeah, like he said. All that that really means is it's an AK47 rifle made to utilize modern technologies and machining processes that weren't as available at it's conception. Such as a stamped receiver. All in all the same rifle though :)
the m4, ak74, steyr aug, psg, rpg7, svd, usp, fn mag gpmg, browning 50. hmg, oh and the beretta 92fs. if i had all these on my wall id be a very happy man

@MrHerderp i will explain, hope your brain can process it. @skatertommy7 It's the name of the designer Mikhael Kalashnikov. The company wasn't named after Mikhael. K, in fact Im not even sure the company had a certain name since the AK was first being produced at an arms factory in Kovrov. The new manufacturer is Izhmash. And the name Kalashnikov really is a nick name for the rifle in many countries.
@GodHatesWar Actually, the name kalashnikov is official, since : AK = avtomat kalashnikov, but their is also another name or code like 6P something, all russian weapons are named 6P with a number behind...
Fedorov avtomat was using fully powered and sized round in battles, which qualifies him as a battle rifle. All assault rifles are using intermediate rounds, starting with Stg-44, which introduced it to the scene in 1943

@GodHatesWar Kalashnikov is not a nick name it's the company and the last name of Alexander Kalashnikov.
skatertommy7 1 year ago
@skatertommy7 It's the name of the designer Mikhael Kalashnikov. The company wasn't named after Mikhael. K, in fact Im not even sure the company had a certain name since the AK was first being produced at an arms factory in Kovrov. The new manufacturer is Izhmash. And the name Kalashnikov really is a nick name for the rifle in many countries.
GodHatesWar 1 year ago 6
@GodHatesWar Actually, the name kalashnikov is official, since : AK = avtomat kalashnikov, but their is also another name or code like 6P something, all russian weapons are named 6P with a number behind...

Fedorov Avtomat is NOT an assault rifle...it' s fully powered battle rifle. Many of the guns shown here are SMG's too
kimskis 1 year ago
@kimskis The Fedorov Avtomat was the first practical assault rifle ever adopted. And which are SMG's?
GodHatesWar 1 year ago
@GodHatesWar
Fedorov avtomat was using fully powered and sized round in battles, which qualifies him as a battle rifle. All assault rifles are using intermediate rounds, starting with Stg-44, which introduced it to the scene in 1943
