The animation on Grimmjow was SOOOO much better on Grimmjow when he first appeared with his faction. After that his hair, mouth (which is important because of his freaky smile), half-coat thing, and his mask changed a bunch, he didn't look nearly as cool after those episodes. don't get me wrong, we was still awesome and bad ass looking but he looked way more bad ass durring the episodes with his faction.

Also, Grimm totally let ichigo get that last hit off in their last fight, he just stopped himself from dodging.. which would've been easy for him.

My theory? Grimmjow turns into a Vasto Lorde later on, I hope so anyway, hands down my favorite Bleach character.

Ichigo without hollow form or Bankai beat Kenpachi. Kenpachi beat Tousen. Tousen owned Grimmjow. Grimmjow owns Ichigo with Bankai + Hollow form...  Wtf o.O

As for Tousen, Tousen could have trained off screen... which is actually Kubo's explanation for why he's that strong now. It HAS been a few months after leaving soul society ya know.....

Just think about it. Aizen wasn't expected to be the strongest Captain while he was in Soul Society but he was still able to beat Ichigo and renji and propably would've been able to beat up a few captains along with them. He was simply holding back all the time before that.

Gin fought that little brat (forgot the name :D) as if they were on an equal level but now we can guess he's about as strong as Tousen. So he was most likely holding back as well.

If it was only for them being really strong it wouldn't be a problem. But if Captains like Byakuya are expected to be extremely strong and Tousen/Gin/Aizen could defeat them in a few seconds it would be kinda suspicious ^^

Even Kenpachi is suspicious to many people due to his power. But he was still beaten by Ichigo Shikai while Aizen didn't break a sweat when Ichigo and Renji went Bankai and faught him together.

I'd really love to see Tousen vs. Kenpachi and Gin vs. [little brat] round 2 :D

We never really saw his Bankai and actually we didn't even see him fighting seriously. The fight against (argh damnit, always forgetting his name) well the brat looked more like he was playing than actually fighting. Characters like that always end up being beasts in most anime.
