Great vidz. Saw Special Beat in San Francisco and it was the best concert I have ever been. It was the Specials and the English Beat in one big band and playing together like family and going through both their repertoire. Memorable and unforgettable. A gift from the gods. This is a top piece of film. I saw Neville Staple (Specials) and Rankin' Roger (The Beat)play a set together at The Falls festival in Marion Bay, Tasmania last year. They played heaps of Specials songs at it was magnificent. To see them the in the era captured here would have been unbelievable.

Remember this from Rock Goes To College, great times, my first music trend. Bit of a problem withNF and Skins at the time, but was great as I grew up on the originals, great to have had Specials, Madness, Selecter, Beat, Bad Manners etc.

This is the first time I have seen the Specials doing Madness - I guess Madness doing the song made it confusing, so they stopped performing it!!! By the way The Specials have the cooolest fans...
