i always imagine a taller mysterious stranger coming an srrprising me w/this song in India after breaking my heart...then he puts his arms around my waist an i put mine around his neck...an i stare up at him as we dance forever. )
@ghyabraci I completely agree with you! There is nothing like the love you can feel for your brother or your sister, its unconditional. No matter what happens bonds like these are near impossible to break, and to watch them be repaired is even more beautiful. Wonderful movie, just makes me feel like asking my sister and brother to hop on a flight to asia with me so we could do a wonderful trip like this one! This meant a lot to me and the soundtrack makes it even more of a joy to watch!
After watching this film, I want to visit the land of India and have a spiritual journey. Of course I will bring this soundtrack and I will ride the trains.
yea Wes Anderson is the man and the soundtrack is dope. I love the style of his characters and his movies. dig this song. sounds like a beatles instrumental from the St. Peppers time!! love it
you know it might take many times too watched..i recommed this, i have seen many times abd everytime i see something new or thta i handnt noticed, but the meaning it leaft me is awsome!
one night i was rolling mad face and listened to this song at least 20 times in a row. it is simply the most beautiful song ive heard in a good while.
This is the theme music to an old film called 'bombay talkie' , and on that soundtrack is a vocal version of this song called 'good times and bad times' sung by usha uthup, its an amazing beautiful haunting song...
Why so called creatures = Pakistanis need to comment on every India related Video....... Look up...your country is almost finished.....having its last breaths on US feeded Dollars......
Because dear,,.....It is the consequence of the comment you have posted about Indian Trains..??? Have you ever been to India? There is the biggest Rail network and qualities of Trains ranging from say level 1 tp level 10 and this trains is just level 5......and as per you...this is not even the best we have....so before comment..see the truth in what yo say...Do I make any comment about Pakistani Trains? Enjoy
Being a Pakistani, I know trains in this region aren't as good as shown in the movie. But the movie was great and this experience is just worth it for all you westernized souls. lol.
The trains are part of the experience. Just imagine: a place where all your senses are engaged at the same time and every day is extraordinary. I recommend it.
my mum has recently fallen in love with india and won't shut up about it as much as she likes india she won't go on the trains, too insane for her liking.
Then what part of India is she in love with? The touristy aspect? Trains are the way to go. All types of people are on it, and those are the people that make up India.
now this is what i miss! an actual soundtrack to a movie without sweet home alabama on it. when did it stop being cool to have original soundtracks someone tell me WHY!!!
thats so funny you mention sweet home alabama. I attend the University of Alabama and I'm probably the only person that doesnt care for that song but digs this one :)
this movie is feel good therapy.i was trying to figure out the bill murray part at the beginning and then it donned on me that he was their father. he missed the train because he had died.
sorry, but no way. the point of bill murray was to add comic relief. oh, and the dad died a year before the train trip... so, good idea, but i don't think so, sorry. :/
@saveover23 mmm u know what i think it was? i think the son that was running realized he was like his father, always late and stuff. He kinda saw him as a refflection. Same happens with owen wilson and her mom. But it´s my opinion, it´s just... oh boy, i love that movie. Interpretations make it better.
@saveover23 That makes sense, because the next time we see him, he's on the train; at peace, because his wife and their sons finally came to peace with each other.
@saveover23 and its significant that its Peter, Adrien Brody's character. then still in slow mo it shows the indian boy standing on the back of the train, significant of the boy Peter tries to save in the river. He also dies. Just found out Schwartzman helped write this movie- cool stuff.
I believe that she had a spiritual transformation and decided to become a nun, forcing her to leave her marriage and family. When her ex husband dies, she doesn't come because her work helping needy people in India was greater than attending the funeral of her estranged husband. She leaves the three boys that morning because in Christian thought, loving God should go above any family or earthly thing.
The perception of why she was running away is the question. Yes she probably didn't see her duties as a housewife, a mother, to be what she envisioned her life to be. In a search for something 'greater,' she found religion. When the boys find her in India, even then she continues to 'run away' from them. This soundtrack is great btw.
@Ichvyenichalster ----hey look lady.he wrote that while he was in a hurry. also CAPITALIZE is spelled with a Z. do'nt you think you should have your s--- together before you jump on someone's back. WHY DO YOU EVEN FN CARE
