This goes for everybody in the past couple of days. If you have a WPA encrypted password. That tends to cause issues with the ip address and the connection cannot be found. Either use WEP or preferably no password at all. Remember, unplug your ps3 from the back first and then reset your router...Wait 3 minutes and test connection.

What you need to do. Is you need to go into your status of your wireless. Type in the Default gateway into your browser, go into your router settings, look around for primary and secondary dns settings and then copy them from the computer to the ps3 visually and then thats its its kool

@TheRidley0119 All I can really tell you is make sure your router doesn't have a password or you have to put the password on the ps3. Also reset your router for 10 minutes and as soon as you turn it on turn on your ps3. That usually gets the connection real strong.

please help me i am using a wireless dongle and am using an ethernet cable to connect the pc and ps3 i have the settings on the computer right but when i go on to the playstation (i originally tried it on automatic but i couldnt get the ip address) i try to put the info in manually. i have the right ip address and i think ive got the subnet mask right but i got kind of default codes for the DNS' i think they work but......

Okay guys just wanna clear up some things that I said previous. This works for most people but not all. If it doesn't work for you I am sorry to hear that and if it does enjoy your online play ;-) Now as far as making a vid I can't because I have a ps3 slim that gives me none of these problems. I did this when I had a regular ps3. If this doesn't work try to leave your router off for 20 minutes and plug it back in (turn ps3 on immediately). Anything message me. Ya boy...

I just bought a BlueTooth for ps3 that costed me $101.70!!!!! and now my ps3 not working. aight look, I live in Usa - North Carolina, I play Grand theft auto IV online psn : Ridley0119. I got Linksys internet connection, on my ps3 it says the connection 70%-88% please get back to me, my ps3 has NO Warranty, plz message my youtube channel and I'll talk to u an give u everything u need to know.

@TheRidley0119 All I can really tell you is make sure your router doesn't have a password or you have to put the password on the ps3. Also reset your router for 10 minutes and as soon as you turn it on turn on your ps3. That usually gets the connection real strong.

Sup Fatjoejr2001, I'm Ridley0119 from PS3, anyhow, Please Add me I need more info man, I'm so fed up with my ps3, here passed week its been screwing up with the DNS and the internet connection, i fixed the connection last week, an today connection messed up, I'm usen linksy's I got 70%-88% Connection to it but my internet still screws up, i think its due to a dumb mechanical error in the PS3, I'm using a WireLess connection, dude please help me!

@BloodLionMGO Turn off your router for a good 5 minutes and reset your ps3. That should get the connection at it's best.

did nothing, man ive tried everything, every bloody code. had mates come over who apparently know what they doing and i still get dns error. im not a computer geek either so im feel like punching everyone at sony in there balls for making this shit happen. thanks anyway

please help me i am using a wireless dongle and am using an ethernet cable to connect the pc and ps3 i have the settings on the computer right but when i go on to the playstation (i originally tried it on automatic but i couldnt get the ip address) i try to put the info in manually. i have the right ip address and i think ive got the subnet mask right but i got kind of default codes for the DNS' i think they work but......

Okay guys just wanna clear up some things that I said previous. This works for most people but not all. If it doesn't work for you I am sorry to hear that and if it does enjoy your online play ;-) Now as far as making a vid I can't because I have a ps3 slim that gives me none of these problems. I did this when I had a regular ps3. If this doesn't work try to leave your router off for 20 minutes and plug it back in (turn ps3 on immediately). Anything message me. Ya boy...
