  • I just bought the KA-BAR Large Bowie and haven't used it yet, but tomorrow I will be hacking through reeds, branches and the ocassional hiker ;) Anyway, this Becker blade will soon be among my collection of KA-BARs. Very nice quality video, NorgeJoe!

  • its a good knife, and very strong But dam its ugly

  • How about an update video on this?

  • I have the Becker 7 and absolutely love it. I have considered getting the companion. Becker/K-Bars rock.

  • i hate when everyone says its a heavy knife its less then a pound chill out and ik that lighter is what people like but i like heavy for the momentum to chop the wood

  • hey ur one of the first people that didnt go on and on about the sheath

  • The Americans did something right!?! Made a fine blade..... That's about it...

  • @blue2kid3

The internet. Don't forget the internet. So you can make yourself feel better by bashing people you don't even know. Feel better? Here, have a lollipop.

  • its made in america as in assembled in america... Everything is manufactured in taiwan, all they probly do is brand it epoxy coat it and assemble it

  • The newer 2nd generation has a tang that extends beyond the handle (a pommel). I saw a video that showed the handles removed and the tang was a skeleton type (holes cut in it).

Does the older 1st generation have these holes cut in the tang or is it a solid piece of metal??

  • Great review.

  • Oh Yeah...Norway ROCKS man! Thanks.

  • Joe, your " I don't even know how you could kill it!" comment is too funny. lol. I loved the review, and have watched it several times. I've finally made up my mind. I'm purchasing on today. Thanks man. Thumbs up. ~Wolf

  • Hey Joe I posted a video of my second gen BK-2 if your interested

  • Gonna be buying that soon how has it been working our so far

  • Its great. Stays sharp and has a lot of chopping power to it. I recommend attaching some paracord so it doesn't go anywhere though.

  • @NorgeJoe : yeah man i can see that beast needing a leash i also might one day have it customized new sheath, handle replacement

  • Thanks alot m8

  • how much did it cost total to ship it to norway?

  • Hi im from norway too, and i wonder what the total price was in NOK after toll and shipping

Thinking of buying so please answer soon

  • I live in the US. But I think they do ship internationally. Go on the website in the description and check. It shouldn't be too expensive.
