To the love of my life -Heather I hope one day you will be able to love someone, the way i love you. - unless you love your life will flash by-. I forgive you & love you.
We had a free concert in the park in Greeley Colorado several years ago and Firefall was the featured band. The funny thing about it was all of us were asking who is Firefall? Nobody could answer and we almost left, but my wife said it's free if they stink we'll leave. They started to play and we recognized and loved every song. I've never seen so many people hang around for a free concert. I wish they'd come back.
I was around 12 when this came out. We had just put our oldest cat down. It was a rainy day and this song came on. "Just remember I love you..." so fitting for the day. I've never forgotten the comfort I felt when I heard this song. It still gets me all warm inside whenever i hear it. thank You ol John for the love.
A woman named Jen burned this song 4 me right b4 she left town and moved 1000 miles away. It was her song to me, along with many others. But now every time I hear it, I have a mixture of both sad and happy emotions. I'm just glad I can still listen to it without too much sadness these days.
Thanks for sharing it with us and allowing us to remember many parts of our former lives.
kinda cheesy, but really great too. You hear it on the radio and you're like'who is this', for the era, they were in their own place, their sound is unique

It's a love song! Maybe this generation isn'tt used to hearing that amongst all the violence and sex.

@MsOldierock Don't forget all that shallow "puppy love" crap and completely cliche "I can't live without you" nonsense from pop stars nowadays too.

@OriginalTharios That;s cool, I make no apologies for the music I like, It is diversified, but I like it all.
