  • yeah Dude those were the dazes! Fucken Smokin, Drinkin n pokin'! These days Everything revolves Facebook! Fucken fags hate that facebook shit!!

  • what is the name of the kid on the right?

  • @zev007 Tim Lincecum

  • @chevren HAHAHAHAHAHA I love it that made my laugh my ass off he does look like Lincecum!

  • every1 stfu, just becuz u couldnt grow up in a decade that overshadows every other decade..........im 22,but i bet the 60z n 70z were awesome, the only thing we got goin 4 us is cell-phones,face book, stronger weed and thizz pills......so stfu, bring back the love man

  • That belt buckle pipe is ridiculously awesome!

  • I have always found people like wooderson to be very annoying. I am not talking about the cockyness, or his attitude, that is cool. I mean the fact that he is like 26 and still hangs around with high schoolers. Maybe it was different in the 70s but now it seems kind of lame to hang out with people who were in 3rd grade when you graduated. I mean, once they are graduted its all fine and good, but when they are still in high school its kind of pathetic. Let the hate comments and bashing flow.

  • @metathus I thought the same thing and asked my parents and apparently it was a little different back then. My dad said he always hanged out with older kids and my mom said she had a few older friends as well. Don't know if that has any input, but just thought I'd let you know.

  • @ParagonCinemas I just know that these days when me and my firends (we are all 22) see anybody our age hanging out with high schoolers we make fun of them and say "whats the matter, everybody your age know how big of a loser you are so you have to hang out with people 4 years younger than you?" I mean, when we have parties nobody thats still in high school is allowed to come. I dont know, its just highschoolers are annoying little shitheads that can never go or do anything fun.

  • @metathus Not a doubt. I hear you. I'm just saying I guess it was a little different back then, but its definitely different today and I gotta agree with you.

  • @metathus You're kind of a dick. Sure, it's not really cool these days for older people to chill with high schoolers, but that doesn't mean you have to go and call them "annoying little shitheads". What gives you the right to call them that? You were an annoying little shithead once, and just because you're not anymore doesn't give you any right to bash them at all. Maybe you should grow up bud.

  • @DMSBlackout6854 I am grown up, hence why I find high schoolers annoying little shitheads. Just shut your fucking mouth faggot.

  • @metathus You hit the nail on the head. You're grown, so be a little more mature and don't bash people who are younger than you. Faggot? Seriously, grow the fuck up you goddamn nuisance. You have the mentality of one of those annoying little shitheads you're talking about.

  • Top best classic scene

  • 0:29 pink with the classic belt buckle pipe. i want one!

  • I know I'm stoned but is that how the vid was supposed to end?

  • I didn't know that the 70's and the 80's was this gay. o.o

  • @zonip67 the 70s and 60s were fucking cool, but the 80s fucking sucked ass, even the music sucked ass for the 80s.

  • none of this would have happened has they had the internet back then.

  • thumbs up if you noticed pinks belt buckle is a pipe :))

  • Thumbs up if Brian brought you here!

  • His best role I think.

  • im born in 96.....wait a minute!

    69 :)

    nice

  • I feel so bad about that character. High school was pretty much the most popularity he ever reached.

  • Mathew pretty much played himself in this movie

  • i want that pipe that pink smokes from in this scene....

  • I love how every high school had a Wooderson. Notice 'Fox on the Run' in the background.

  • @corkscrewclubhouse93 I do wish I could have been in high school in the late 70's. You make it sound exactly like I imagine it and I bet you have fond memories you wouldn't trade for anything. At least I was a child in the 70's and I still believe there wasn't a better time to be a kid. Such fond memories of growing up back then.

  • McConaughey shoulda got an Oscar for this movie...cause he sure did drop off after this muhahaha

  • I love how family guy made fun of this. Where Brian used that same line. =D

  • The 80's was da bomb!!

  • that's Rene Zellenger walking thru....

  • to be honest the generations seem the same with a few changes is all

  • CHECK YOU LATER! CHECK YOU LATER! why are you such a dork man?

    best soundtrack ever

  • cigarrettes on the sleve

  • nice little sneak a toke there

  • matthew motherfucking mcconaughey :D

  • blazed and confused

  • Spoken like a true pervert...

  • @CitySkin09 lol

  • im on a mission to find pinks weed pipe thats a belt buckle some one help me on this

  • I was exactly the age of the kids in this movie back in the late '70s (Class of '79). It was not boring at all. We may not have had the gadgets of today, etc, but we spent the time partying and exploring more. This was a time when drugs and sex were loose and free. There were little to no rules (unlike today). No one was running the ship. "I want to be free, man" was the anthem. Having said that, I can totally understand why so many peeps would want to live in that decade.

  • mainly people who dont get out and socialize with other people that much think they live in a shitty time. the movies they see depict people having fun. u want it to feel like dazed and confused, get about 30 people with 10 dollars. find someone to buy u couple kegs and go to the river. but dont bring any music passed

  • 70s cant touch the 90s anyways

  • And those are the words of a pedophile. haha jk

  • Party at the moon tower!!

  • @runningwolf2006 I do the same thing an I'm 21

  • That guy...I dont know his name...is my hero!

  • @runningwolf2006 thanx for reply; you're probably right; ...no matter; i like their sound; thats probably one of the reasons why; i like rock and country; put those two together = pretty damn good tunes;

    take care

  • what are some other movies like dazed and confused.

  • @crazbadboy021 rivers edge

  • @crazbadboy021 Summer School. From 1987

  • the fantasizing of prior decades is hilarious. every current decade "sucked" until it was gone and you want it back. By 2020, we will wish it was 2004.

  • @thesportsdude90 - lol, its funny cause i already wish it was like 2004 or any year in the past, i think the reason a lot of people think our current decade sucks is because we're advancing... mostly in teleology. It seems more people are at home of their computers than outside playing. Also, when your a kid everything is awesome and some people look back and say, "wow those years were awesome, what happened?" We're getting older and things get more serious :(

  • Hey why did he say that guy gonna get in trouble for? What was he doing wrong?

  • That's what I love about them high school girls man

  • Matthew McConaughey is still standing their today.

  • @metallica606 This movie was made in 1993. Family Guy started in 1998.

  • This movie copied family guy

  • @metallica606 your a fucking dumbass dont ever watch family guy again

  • @metallica606 your a moron, this movie was made YEARS before Family Guy...Family Guy was quoting Dazed and Confused....

  • family guy XD

  • That Chics a Dude???????????? oh GOODDDDDDD!!!!

  • Back in My town This Life Style is Alive and Well. i went back and never wanted to leave becasue it reminded me of dazed and confused ALot. The pool Halll the teens who drive around yelling. etc.etc. maple creek saskatchewan

  • @StupidTeddybear What town are you talking about haha?

  • Thanks for uploading this. This movie is so epic! This is one of my FAV scenes

  • haha....damn pedophile...

  • woooooodersooon

  • Cmon guys, you cant argue on a Wooderson clip!

  • Yes they do! yes they do! , love family guy

  • @AronHallan fuck family guy.

  • @thesportsdude90 Agreed! Fuck Family Guy.

  • what does "no c" refer to? cigarettes? pussy? or cunt?

  • @ForTheLoveOfFlight Thought so

  • Thats Mathew Mconohay right?

  • @bag04u A. You're a fucking loser that has nothing better to do than read a comment that I made six months ago B. I have a job asshole, I'm a full time firefighter and I make a damn good living at it C. the drinking age did change, the decade in which this movie is based on, it was 18 now it's 21 so you learn the facts

  • this guys suppose to be like 30 thts fuckin creepy

  • @poopmcscoopface

No. Not that old. He was probably a senior when Pink and the rest where freshmen.

  • @bag04u fuck you little prick

  • haha family guy

  • @aplayaz2000 family guy stole this... this movie was made years before family guy was created or even thought of.

  • @ClevelandOrangeDawgs obviously

  • @rockking05 lol, yeah it's true. I was just telling my friend that the other day. I'm a senior in high school. Like Matt says... I get older, they stay the same age xD

  • I wish i lived in the 70s

The style and time was cooler.. music was cooler tv was cooler and people were cooler...

  • I kinda have to laugh at the obscene amount of comments stating how everyone here wants to live in the 1970's, and how much they hate our current generation.

There are scenes throughout Dazed and Confused where the characters complain about how bored they are and how much the 70's suck. I think it just goes to show that almost everyone hates their current generation and wishes they were in a different one.

  • @forman208 very true my friend very true.I wonder if the history channel years from now would ever make speical program on our generation and the influence that it had on the world, and such.

  • @forman208 Wise man. Our generation rules rock solid ass.

  • Totally Disagree. Music was more exciting back then and tv wasnt as big, so teens spent there days at poolhalls, arcades socializing, now we have facebook to do that, now that takes the fun out of everything.

  • @StupidTeddybear TV and Internet...the two things that doom the youth

  • @forman208 im agree , but im competley bored with the decade were in right now.

  • @xDuranDuran Then you should take some English or grammar lessons to occupy your time. Moron.

  • @SkozloNYC because i spelled one word wrong ? sorry, i dont care so much about english you nerd. & why would you care if i spelled it wrong are you my mom or something? didnt think so, so shut the fuck up bastard. D:

  • @xDuranDuran I'm the grammar police bitch. You've been busted. I wanna take comments seriously, but can't when idiots can't even put one coherent sentence together. "Sorry, I don't care so much about English you nerd." Hey, maybe you should. It, afterall, is the only thing that seperates us from the animals you monkey. Knucklehead.

  • @forman208 yes sir! i made that point on another video. when we're old and we have kids they're gonna wish they lived in the 90's-00 :p

  • @forman208 bullshit dude the 70s kicked ass come on

  • @forman208 thats the plot of the movie

  • @forman208

lmao cuz other generations are just better sometimes! :)

  • @forman208 thats what ive been saying!

  • @forman208 love the one you got and make the best out of it!

  • @forman208 so life sucks ass no matter your generation

  • @forman208 That true, I always say I want to be in the 80s because of how its portrayed in movies!

  • @forman208 Well it's true. Tell me you wouldn't want to live like this? It was simply better. :p

  • @forman208 wat comments talked about how much they hate their generation im 18 and i LOOOOOOOVE my generation born in 92 man i think the nineties is the best generation look at all the hotties that came from it

  • @telam92 look at all the horrible music that came from it though

  • @iamobeliskquake yea but brad Pitt, George clooney their hotness rectifies tht

  • @telam92 Sorry to burst your bubble, but if you were born in 92 the 90s were not your generation, today is you generation. I mean, what can you really remember about the 90s considering you were pretty young even after they were over. I was born in 88 and I cant really remeber much from the 90s excpet maybe a little from 98 and 99. I am not trying to start a fight, because I agree the 90s were 1000 times better than todays shit generation, but to be part of a generation you have to remeber it

  • @metathus i fucking knw tht dont insult my intelligence fucker i said i love my generation and the year tht i ws born in whether i remember them or not

  • @telam92 So I respond nicely and you insult me...shows your maturity....grow up ok bud.

  • @metathus no its just tht u made me made and tht pissed me off i maybe 18 but i knw wtf im tlking about i graduated wit a flipping honors diploma sorry to respond so angry but thts wat happens when i only read da 1st sentence then respond to tht part

  • @forman208 the 60s fuken rocked tho

  • @forman208 It's because we're in an odd decade. Duh.

  • @forman208 I feel like that's because of memories. If you go out with your friends nowadays and share a beer or ten, you may get into some real adventures but you can't really appreciate it at that moment, only later. I think everybody's going to look back at his teenage years as the greatest. - " All I'm saying is that if I ever start referring to these as the best years of my life - remind me to kill myself. " That was the biggest irony in the film.

  • @forman208 but probably it just means that it got worse and worse and worse....

  • high school girls are cute and what he said there was true.

  • @rockking05 You're not supposed to agree with him.

  • @SABushcraft why it is true though.I try my best to stay away from them though.

  • @acfabregat → Dazed and Confused

  • a stallion.

  • I tried pink's little move from this video back in high school once. almost didn't get away with it. LOL

  • where can i purchase a belt buckle pipe. That is the shiz-niddle. You got a Joint man, ......be cooler if you did.

  • lol

  • wow hes voice never changed.

  • @ChristinaLaRosa18 this movie was made like 15 years ago lol most of the time peoples voices dont change that much

  • i live in brooklyn so i dont know how different it is everywhere else. but life isnt that much different for me and this movie. i still get high with my friends, and i still go to beer busts and have a party almost every week. kids dont really listen to rap that much anymore either way, a lot of kids listen to a variety of music, including metal, punk, and even classic rock. we still have our stoners and such. and the tech issue isnt that big. it just makes us more social.

  • @thewilliam206 How many kid's do you know that own a muscle car? Or drive mommy and daddy's muscle car?

  • @halobum117 one of my friend owns one. and obviously muscle cars are a gone style. but im talking about the stuff teenagers do, not the clothes they wear or the cars they drive. And by the way, if you seriously think muscle cars are cool, get a life, or a delorian.

  • @thewilliam206 lol a Delorian, who am I Michael J. Fox?

  • belt buckle pipe

  • Legendary.

  • awesome/disturbing

  • How come that guy told that wooderson dude that he might go to jail? How old was he?He is so cool not for liking high school girls but being him i guess.

  • @HunafudaMASTER

That sounds like heaven. As an 80s-born, 90s-00s generation guy, I actually despise how much technology is prevalent and how little face-to-face contact we have. I had a taste of it as a kid, but I was part of the generation that changed with technology. The bit about girls not being such a game sounds great too. Going to disagree on rock n roll though. Music is just as great now as it was then. You just have to know where to find it. Anyway, great comment.

  • Technology is in every age. From the printing press of the medieval to the beginning of cumputers and network television of the seventies to ipods today. It's how and why the technology effects the values, behaviors, and attitudes of the generation that counts. The seventies seemed laid back but thery weren't. Vietman, racism, riots, political corruption are a few examples. The technology was limited compared to today, but there was enough to bomb Vietnam, and keep our teenagers dazed and confused.

  • i've heard this quote so many times i was just curious where it originated from!

  • beatles song in the background

  • LOL

  • He has SO Much to teach us

  • the piece belt buckle is fuckin awesome!! i need to get me one of those hahaha

  • matthew mchoughnhay is the worst actor in america im so sick of hearing about him....OH HE SOO HAWT WE DONT CARE HOW SHITTY HIS ACTING IS!! ironicly he played the role in this movie of an idiot redneck pretty well.......perhaps he wasnt even acting?

  • i want a pipe belt buckle!

  • I think the best line in the movie is actually when they r all in the car and he says "man what the fuck was that? Check you laterrr! Check you laterrr!" hahahaaa

  • AUSTIN,TEXAS

  • funniest shit!

  • hey medicred8 he should of but he's just play him self hahaha

  • Family Guy makes a lot of vague/weird references.... so whenever i see what they reference i always say "HEY THAT CAME FROM FAMILY GUY LULZ" not the other way around.

  • alright alright alright

  • great great GREAT movie

  • i heard that Matthew didn't get the role at first beacouse he was too good looking to play Wooderson, wich was a guy that was chasing girls but didn't get many...he had to grow a little mustache and longer hair to get the part...Anyway I Love Dazed and Confused the best movie ever

  • thats why like these high school girls i get older and they stay the same age. lol classic.

  • Best line in the movie. Kick ass movie aswell, fooking loved this when it came out ! Still enjoy it to this day ! Soundtrack is great also.

  • i can see mathew macconaugh actually like this in real life

  • Did He just take A pipe From His belt Take a Hit nd put it back?

If So how do i go about Getting myself one of Those ?

  • @oOChaliOo huh, that was fucking tight. . .it was the buckle. haha! koo

  • Greatest Movie of all time, From beating freshmans asses, to the keg to the "Pickford residence" to the party at the moontower. Just Classic

  • don't touch the leather er er hahahaha

  • Lol Kinda classic.

  • I love this quote!!!

  • @PUTS31 Show me the way by Peter Frampton

  • youtube.dotcomwatch?v=7X08WHE1Qjk

  • yes they do yes they do.

  • Life just seems so simple back in the 70s. Theres too much technology and shit in the world today. Theres just to much stuff today. Everyones always looking for a new way to do something or invent a new way to do something easier and it just makes things so complicated. 70s was all about just chillin out and having fun and not worrying about all the stresses in life. WTF happened to that. Maybe thats why kids are so stupid, girls are so slutty, and adults are so stressed out. Bring back the 70s!

  • lmao...working man ..check it....ALRIGHT ALRIGHT ALRIGHT...keep a little change in my pocket!!

  • wooderson is the coolest guy ever... as simple as that

  • omg the freshman on this movie was based off my dad!! lol
