drum and bass is dance, thats not referring to its influences (hiphop, ragga, jazz jungle bla bla) its recognising its moved out of underground scenes and is now produced to a high standard to be played out of club systems.....for people to dance to......ive seen a couple of the artists referring to it as dance as well. were not talking about dance the genre here, thats usually referring to techno and electronica which is herolosh's point but dance is an umbrealla term for club music
