@caradetaxi Nothing. The only reason the balloon pops is for the same reason it would when you squish it in your hands. It couldn't take anymore internal pressure. If you have a flat, even surface covered in nails, none of them will puncture your hand.

the reason it works is because the weight of the object is dispersed amongst the nails, and because of that, the nails cant pierce through.
