I just saw the documentary and it was excellent. More Americans and people in developed Western countries, need to see the conditions of others. The message needs to get through that we are not isolated and that the things we take for granted, like pre-natal care or a clean hospital bed; are a privilege that many don't have. Thanks for making this film.
Absolutely loved the documentary. And you know, I never really thought about the issues she addressed. She really opened my eyes and I even cried. It's sad to see kids go without their mothers, or even families go without their daughter, sister, wife and aunt.
@viera1963 - I agree with you about Western women, but people should NOT have kids unless they can take care of them. The Limit should actually be 1, not 2 or 3. Over time, rampant consumerism will be seen as the horrendous disease that it actually is. Of course, by then, the global population will be about 2% of what it is now.........
@dink65 I agree about people not having kids unless they can take care of them. What I don't understand is why women in third-world countries have child after child knowing they can't take care of them and knowing they may not even survive-I just think it's my place to judge and say that a child in the West deserves life more than them...it's a complex issue, I guess-it'll take a ton of YouTube comments to discuss THAT issue.
Yeah-depopulation is coming...the question is just a matter of WHEN.
@USER1046 i like it, i thought that after like 10/15 i would change the channel (i saw it on tv) but i did not, i knew that around the world that certain parts of the world that medical care was scarce, but i was not aware that for pregnant women that i was hard to them to get to a hospital (if they do at all)
African mothers have it the hardest, have to endure the most, work the longest and give the most from what they have. It would be wonderful if we learned to pay a special tribute to them first for those reasons.
Christy has not aged. She's in every sense of the term, "Timeless beauty!"

I would love to watch it! But I'm not a resident of US. Is there any other way I'll be able to see it?

I always had a crush on Christy Turlington in my teen years. So I rated this for Christy, and her cause.

Why are some men afraid to let women have a voice? Afraid of too many big words?.
