  • are you a fan of alesana??? just wondering

  • @Willwitzel Can't say that I am. I grew up as a punk rocker mostly. Big fan of stuff like Descendents, All, Vandals, etc. Also a lot of Megadeth; oh, and I love 80s music. I'm a huge Hall and Oates, Tears for Fears, Howard Jones, The Cars, etc. I never really cared for that scream-y stuff.

  • Nice REVIEWS, SUBSCRIBED

  • @UndergroundRetro Thanks dude!

  • Woo-hoo! You're back! :) Out Run is probably my favorite racer of all time. I grew up playing the Sega Master System version, and have fond memories of playing the game with my dad. The choice of route during the game was a definite plus, along with the music. One stage that I always found difficult was the desert. The car was a lot harder to control during that stage. I don't think I've ever played the Genesis version. Cool to hear that there is an additional music track available.

  • @johnnyjohnson Same for me dude; and of course Daytona USA. Definitely pick up the Genesis version if you get the chance, though the best version EVER is the Japanese Saturn copy. Holy crap, that one's great!

  • Great review man.

  • Fantastic game. I never owned it but rented it. Time to change that!!! I remember it being so relaxing that I actually fell asleep while playing it one night in college

  • @neojake999gamer Crazy talk! I could never fall asleep playing OutRun...that game gets me insanely frustrated at times, haha.

  • I was going through Retrosnow withdrawl! Great stuff. :)

  • @spida1a Thanks for watching Chris!

  • Hell yeah, awesome game to review, such a classic. I've got the JP Saturn version, but considering the hardware this version is running on, the Genesis/MegaDrive version I always thought was pretty damn respectable, and I always loved the yellow box for the JP megadrive version, looks really sweet.

  • @CRTcade Funny you should mention that. I just ordered the JP Saturn version about a week ago and am really looking forward to it. I've heard that it's just about the best possible version of OutRun that you can get on a home console.

  • @snowcon3 Awesome! Oh yeah, you will absolutely love it! It really is one of my favorite games in my Saturn collection. Yeah, that's definitely true about it being the best home console version too.

  • I recently got one of those yobo fc3plus multi-consoles, It has nes, snes and genesis and I have been looking locally for a copy of outrun.

  • @tomparis37 Best of luck to ya, man. I looked forever and never came across one. I ended up just going online and picking it up instead.

  • @snowcon3 Thats what Im probably gonna end up doing. The local flea markets and play n trades fail me time and time again. They always have the same games that there are a million copies of and are overcharging because its retro but then give you nothing on trade in lol. oh I see you have a copy of mario all stars I'll give you a quarter, come in the next day and they have $22 bucks on it!

  • The PC-Engine was also a great port of Out Run.

  • @mp4podcastDOTcom Agreed (I've got it too). Matter of fact, I think the graphics are actually better on the PCE version; even though it came out a year before the Genesis port. I also feel like it's a lot harder too...like the car placement on the roads is a bigger pain in the ass.

  • Great to see you back , awesome video as always :)

  • @Propheshor Thanks!

  • Man, I love the music in Outrun. Playing the SMS version last night, even with out the FM mod, I had to turn it up.

  • @AceEbb77 You can never get tired of Splash Wave. I'm sure of it.

  • Love your new intro. Good job!!!;)

  • Great to have you back in the scene. You know this was funny, today as I was walking home from work, I brainstormed: what happened to this retrosnow dude, maybe I should send him a channel comment or something in case he died. So I saw this on my stream and knew then, IT WAS FAITH! wow i need a life.

  • @HENCEtheWEATHER I was walking home from work and had this moment where I was like, "HENCEtheWEATHER is thinking about what happened to me RIGHT NOW." I then immediately went home and made a video. :D

  • Outrun is one of favorites on the Genny. Great review Bracey. Your new intro is awesome too man. Cheers. ^>^

  • Brilliant review as always. I always head for your new vids first!

  • awesome!! Great memories playing the arcade game at the old movie theater in my small town. Thanks for reviewing this!

  • @petsematarykeeper I've always wanted to buy one of those stand up machines with the steering wheel. Those are so cool!

  • Never heard of sega age. Will look into it.

  • Nice job Snow! I really like the new intro video. Glad to see you back to making more videos.

  • Great review of a great game, but, it`s kinda sad to see, that Yu Suzuki practicly withdraw from making video games

  • @metalcoola For sure, though we can still hope for a Shenmue 3 one day...sigh

  • Another awesome review, man. I've recently picked up a copy of "Knight Rider" on PC Engine, which is a lot like "Outrun", except you have a machine gun.

  • @KidShoryuken Ooooh, I'm already intrigued. Definitely going to check that one out!

  • I loves me some Outrun on Genesis, even the newer game are pretty good though

  • @SlimeTeeVee Don't be surprised to see an OutRun 2 video. :D

  • great video as always dude!

  • @cucollins12 Thanks!

  • Nice to see you back again snow ^^

  • @Deadly8bitNinja Thanks man! I was actually listening to your Diablo - Tristram soundtrack video yesterday. I love that song!

  • Hell yes! It's been a while since your last one, and what better way to come back from a break than with some OutRun? Great review as always, man!

  • new intro eh? nice! I actually had t`his game when i was a kid! u ever play outrun on the xbox original? great review as always :D

  • @synicalenigma I've actually got pretty much every version of OutRun ever released, haha. It's one of my favorite games EVER! The PS2 version (OutRun 2006) is even better than OutRun 2 on the Xbox if you've never played it.

  • @snowcon3 I'll definitly have to check it out sometime. i still have to get the original. I'll also checkout segaage.com

  • Hell yes! Awesome review!

  • I remember having the Sega Masters version but this port looks ten times better.

  • @cguevara12 Oh yeah, for sure it is; though the SMS version was pretty neat for the time...not to mention the 3d version!

  • Great review

  • super hang-on

  • I actually like this version of the game. For some reason alot of people do not like this port.

As you've stated, it is one of those games that you can just relax and enjoy the game play.

I've been a lurker of the segaages forum for a while now. One of these days I'll register. Maybe today!

  • @segagenesis1989 Do it dude! And I don't know why anyone would hate on the Genesis version; it's excellent!

  • This is really great. I have the Pc-Engine version of this.

  • @123doomdoom I've got that copy too as a matter of fact! Pretty great port but the sound effects aren't quite up to par with the Genesis IMO.

  • Yes!!! Another Review! I live for this channel!!!

  • one of the most underrated on youtube

  • @robit99 agree on that!

  • @robit99 Wow, thanks a lot! Much appreciated!

  • @robit99 Agreed!

  • @thesaintedmagnusshow I didn't even notice it until you mentioned it at the end of your comment, haha.

  • ive been waiting so long for another vid im so happy now

  • @plopkinggamer I did it just for you.

  • @snowcon3 oh you :)

  • Excellent review. I'm glad they also kept the three main songs from Outrun in most of the sequels.

  • @beigemore Yeah, and the remixes are all really good too. My GF loves Splash Wave (and any variation of it)!

  • very nice review. do you know how much this game is worth? i would like to actually try it myself.

  • @dcrediah About $15 to $30 depending on condition usually.

  • @snowcon3 thanks dude. I thoroughly enjoy your videos.

  • Nice new intro dude

  • @scottscott1981 Thanks!
