  • cool we will make it

  • This is amazing! Keep on doing your thing!

Btw what program did you use for the video?

  • @RhythmAddictedState thank you! i used imovie

  • @clayminiatures Ok! Thank you :)

  • this is fantastic, but dont strawberries have translucent white centers? and did you put translucent into the kiwi flesh, or was it just regular green? i just made the kiwi, and it was fantastic, thanks for the tutorial!

  • @m0ship0t yes they do sometimes, and yes its translucent green :) your welcome!

  • @TheScript55 both, if you want to store them baking for 5 mins is good, but if you want to be able to texture the slices, then keep it unbaked :)

  • @TheScript55 by squeezing and stretching it

  • Thank you so much for this tutorial! I made a kiwi cane just now and it turned out great! Now, I'll attempt to do the strawberry one =D

  • @TheTarafan your welcome, glad it turned out well!

  • I LOVE THIS SONG!

  • @awesomealice100 haha me too :)

  • Great result! It looks very real, but also artistic! I got one question: which diameter is the first piece you make (before you reduce & squeeze)?

  • @genderfemale01 thank you! when i make canes they are usually 2-3 cm in diameter which makes 3 or so canes :)

  • what do you mean, squeeze and reduce it?? i dont understand what you do??

    please tell thanks xD PlAyDoHpErSoN

  • @PlAyDoHpErSoN you use your fingers and press around the circle ( the kiwi), keeping it in the same shape, gradually by pressing the sides of the circle it will elongate and become more and more like a cylinder, then if you hold both ends of the cylinder and pull it slightly it will stretch. This is now a cane as you would have effectively shrunk the kiwi circle into a small thin cylinder, hope this helped maybe i can film me doing this process next time :)

  • @clayminiatures I don't know grr I really wanted to see!

  • @MyCuzAndI4Ever until i upload one maybe I could tell you how to make the strawberry; layer strips of red clay and then pink/red. bend the strips into a strawberry shape, cut a slice, place a strip of white in between and continue all the way around the strawberry. Add a layer of white in the middle then fill the rest of the middle with red+ translucent . squeeze and reduce :) it might be a bit complicated to tell but hopefully you might get it!

  • This won't let me see the video can you do another one :(

  • @MyCuzAndI4Ever oh no, why can't you see it? I could some other time :)

  • how do you squeeze and reduce?

  • @rachecutiex326 you press and make it smaller while keeping the shape and then when it becomes thinner you can pull and stretch it :)

  • Do you sell these? There amaaaazing!

  • @ixTokiDoki i don't sell my miniatures or canes at the moment but i might start selling them on etsy next year :)

  • i wonder how cherry canes are made...

  • how do u keep your clay clean without dust?? they look so nice!!

  • @DINOSAUROUSevan thanks! wash my hands before making anything and i work on a tray and piece of paper so i change the paper when it gets dirty

  • what do you exactly "squeeze"

  • @LPSrox44 you squeeze the clay while keeping the shape so it becomes a very small cane :)

  • What do you do with canes??? I see some people put them on there nails

  • @kayyteeful I use them in the miniature foods that i make

  • wow! these are awesome!

  • @HausOfCats thank you!

  • omg O_o your good whenever i do that it gets all smoshed idk wha im doing wrong :(

  • @yummyteeny thank you! that used to happen, try to do it slowly and bit by bit so that it doesn't lose shape :)

  • im done watching on a computer and thats soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good

  • @lilcraftateer thank you!

  • Wow that's amazing! :D I'm not NEARLY as good as you at making these canes, so I have no choice but to buy em!! >.<
