  • A writers' strike delayed the start of the 1988-89 televison season. Bill Cosby was still King of the network airwaves and stand-up comic Roseanne Barr rose to superstardom with her ABC sitcom ROSEANNE. The most interesting televison children/babies of 1988-89 are Amanda Phillips from this series and newborn twins Winnie and Nelson Tibidaux from NBC's The Cosby Show.

  • 0:40-0:42 A little sweetness! lol

  • The season 2 opening montage was just like this except it used the original season 1 version of the theme.

  • This is season 3,1988-89,the very last. Brass, bass, keyboards and percussion this time. No Bobby McFerrin. This season introduced Ginger Orsi as Amanda Phillips,Richard's and Linda's toddler daughter. Amanda was born right around the end of the second season. It was written that newly married Ben and Laura Kelly Coleman had gone on a two-year honeymoon, returning in the season 3 premiere.

  • It's so great that you have this song. I loved this show. That was when t.v. was at its best.

  • I sold all my copies ioffer.com has it

  • I have the dvd's for this show if anyone is interested

  • @carlofal123 how can i get my hands on some dvds for myself????

  • Could someone please upload at least one or full episodes of this show, I have been looking for this show for years, and just heard someone mention it the other day. I would make this 50year old very happy. Thank you!!!

  • What a blast from the past, for some reason I never missed a beat of this theme song. So weird how you can remember a song so many years after. Great show, awe the 80's!! :)

  • Are going to post anymore episodes? This show along with Married with Children and The Tracy Ullman show made Sunday night my favorite tv night!

  • Ugh...why couldn't they keep the couple singing.

  • If producers kept the couple singing, there would have been an entirely different visual montage. This is technically the original season 2 opener with a new theme and the addition of newcomer Ginger Orsi.

  • Awesome! Where did you find this?

  • From a website a really long time ago. I wish I had the first set of credits. That will be uploaded soon, audio only though.

  • I have the first version, on VHS, opening and closing.
