  • i also like how u call them pommy :)

  • oh really well that was not a very good idea :D thanks and ur ute is amazing mn how much cash u spend on it and how mush u get it for? thanks

  • could ya put a mini cooper engine in it like an old mini cooper? then turbo that

  • @INsaNEeDwArDo Not legally. Not sure why you'd want to put a 40 year old pommy engine in a Japanese car though.

  • how much was ur engine and turbo?

  • would that fit a 6.3ft man? cause i love it but i am pretty tall but for some odd reason i like small cars :P

  • @MINITRUKNED I'm 6'2" and fit in no worries. The cabin is about 60% of the vehicle. ;)

  • sick car man! what are they like stock as i'm thinking of buying one

  • When I grow up I'm gonna drive just like you. Slower than my fucken grandmother!! And she runs more boost!!!! Douche-bag!!

  • That's sick!

  • a clean mighty boy without bodykits, just slammed on rims with a fat straight thu zorst that doesn't fart but screams - 13B rotor / sr20det / rb20det. That would actually be fun to drive and wouldn't look like a little rice bucket =)

  • How did you find that bumper

  • @Jackomightyb0y I imported it from Japan.

  • what blow off valve are you using?

  • @StudiousR none - what you can hear is compressor surge.

  • WHAT ENGINE DO U HAVE IN DER

  • do the mighty boys come in rwd? and how much power they got standard?

  • @VsV6Ute FWD only, and a measly 19kw at the flywheel standard.

  • this is shit

  • im sorry but that is gay as aids

  • how much would it cost to turbo a stock mighty boy

  • @grantyclark about $4-5k if you want it done properly.

  • @YLD80Y and what will that achieve power wise and what will 0-100 times be will you have to strengthen the gear box or anything

  • @grantyclark about 50kw ATW and 0-100 of 8 second or so. Gearbox would be replaced as part of the conversion.

  • @YLD80Y what psi can they take and would you be able to post some vids on the speedo while your driving

  • That is quite possibly the greatest car I've ever seen.

  • the things il do to find a mighty boy in tassie

  • man u shoudl learn 2 drive and get up that thing iand if u r its a pos

  • put on a bov, or do you want your turbo to be trashed? guess your boost isn't too high though....

pity even with turbo it's a gutless pos (before i got the lancer, i drove a mightyboy for about 5 months, one day i'd like to do one up though, yours looks awesome, even though it still doesn't go too crash hot)

  • Lancer, lol.

  • Lol

Yes because his lancer is SOOOO much more powerful

    HAHA

    Mightyboy FTW!

  • nice ride bro.i got the same buh urs is to much

  • sick ride bro

  • It is from hello Japan.

Did you import these cars from Japan?

  • that guy must love listening to his BOV..... Rev the fu(ka man. far out. changing gears at 1500rpm wtf is the point of a turbo

  • there is no BOV fitted, genius.

  • I dont think a >1000cc engine can rev very high, maybe 5grand at max,so when you turbo it,and it revs up faster, you would want to change at 3 grand

  • lol 1000cc? A 6600cc can rev to 11,000 or something. Motorbikes rev way past 10,000, there around 1000cc

  • Ummm, because bikes are ALOT different.

For example. Ford EA engines revout at near 6 grand from a straight 6

Of course bikes can rev harder, they arent making huge amounts of hp and weight 200kg

  • Weight has nothing to do with rpm. Most of the supercars can rev to 8-9-10 thousand rpm, thats what vtec engines do. Mighty boys weigh just over 500kg, so not much heavier than a big bike.

  • Uhh. You cant compare a fully modded racecar to a pretty much standard road car

Same with a bike, it also has to do with how much weight is being moved. Why do you think trucks rev out so fast?

And dont say a truck cna rev out at like 8 grand too.

  • Supercar is not a race car, fearri, lamborghini (Spelling lol), maserati, buggatti, ariel atom. They arent race cars, but they rev high. Weight doesnt effect how high a car can rev, bloody buggatti weighs 2 tonne and revs high. Its the engine that choses the rpm, not the body lol.

  • what do you think would be the biggest engine you could put in it and make it legal?

i was thinking that nice little engine that goes in the AE86 would go hard as in this

    oh, i live in victoria

  • 1L turbo or 1.5L naturally aspirated.

  • thanks. are you in victoria?

i was thinking of putting a 1.6 in one...

  • What about GT-ti motor from a charade?

  • it can be done, but is expensive and difficult.

  • oh yeah these cars are cool..

  • i love it very nice ...

  • fucking sweet

  • wonder if ya can convert to rear wheel drive and put in a 13b turbo.

  • Yeah, but no way you could register it.

  • dam, would have bein a weapon.

    what does the car weigh?

  • About 600kg

  • could in new zealand :)

  • AWESOME RIDE bro :D 5/5!! i never thort of a Mighty-Boy like thiis b4!!! THANKS FOR THE VIDEO =]

  • bloody good job on the ute mate! love it

definly getting one after seeing what can be done to them. thanks for the vid

  • Are the rims 17"? You did a mad job and where did you get the body kit from?? thanks in advanced. GOTTA LOVE THE MIGHTY BOYS!!!

  • Rims are 15" - largest you can fit without major body mods or plenty of scrubbing tyres! Body kit is custom made from import parts.

  • that is the sexiest mighty boy ive seen

  • wtf man this and the every! props are u from qld?

  • Nope, but I wouldn't mind moving there!

  • Looks like you've done a really nice job w/ your car, man! I drive an sc100 (F10a 997cc 4cyl 4spd) do you have any suggestions for tuning?

  • Depends on how much you want to spend!

  • Yeh, fair enough. Not going to bore it out, but can prob justify $2K over two years. I really just want to know if there are aftermarket parts available for this engine and who the suppliers are. Can't find much in NZ. Anyhoo, cheers for the vid.

  • I doubt you'll find any off-the-shelf performance parts for the F10A. The solution is generally custom made, same as I had to do with a lot of stuff.

  • Hey. Yeh thats what I figured. I held my 4703 a while ago, so i'm keen to have a crack at fabricating an exhaust system along the lines of those Krisseig F1 jobs. Might just sound crap though! cu

  • K6A front cut and rear cradle, $2,450. Jap Adelaide imports.

Engineering 2x $500 one for the engine conversion and one for the driveline configuration change. Thats $3,500.

I am a bit of an engineer myself tho. not my first. lol.

  • Nice, I think I'll buy one now. For that sort of money id go for a K6A, instead tho. Would love to see some more footage.

  • I don't like your chances of installing and engineering a K6A install for less than $3.5k. I've seen enough import installs to know that it takes a bit more cash than that. ;)

I'll put up more vids when I make em though!

  • Haaaa! Thats fuckin sick!! How much did all the engine work cost?

  • Probably about $3.5k I did most of the work myself. Still heaps to go, I'll post more vids when the boost is pushed up some more.

  • sounds awesome!
