Backyard sports seems to be the only HE series I never outgrew.(it was almost always baseball.) The original was the first one I played all the time. The 2001 version I never played, but seems to be the most common. The 2003 version wasn't really necessary at ALL. It seems as though its only there to keep the series going, only to go downhill afterwards. I'm actually doing a Let's Play on the 2003 version though since the 97 one won't work on my computer. That and nobody else has done it yet. :3
Yeah, the voices can SERIOUSLY get on your nerves after a while in this version.
It doesn't help that I never had any patience to complete a season in any Backyard Baseball game. Yet I completed Football 2002 (the only non-Baseball Backyard Sports game I had) twice.
I never noticed it before, but the inning transition music sounds VERY out of place within this version of the game, since they remastered every song in the entire soundtrack EXCEPT the transitions.
@JuniorAdventurer Yeah, I noticed that too. They seemed to have upped the quality of the pro themes too, so it only makes it feel even more out of place.
Another thing that I really dislike is that it's the same game for the third time in a row. I mean, look at what they did with Football 2002 - they almost remade the whole game from scratch! That's one reason it's one of my favorite Backyard Sports games. They actually tried something different.
just FYI even though annie fraizer has a "1" on her pitching stats... SHE CAN THROW ANY POWER-UP PITCH WITH ULTIMATE ACCURACY!!!!!

@Luigidollar2002 Getting thumbs ups isn't motivating me any further to buy that game. I'll get it when I feel like it.

@Hondo20132 You're right the voices are annoying!

@Hondo20132 Well, Football has the shortest season of all the games, so it's understandable.
