  • How long is the 3rd movement?

  • You look like a bobble-head there at the end. Up, down, up, down. Its like u r little seizure boy. JK. good job.

  • очень-очень слабо и чрезвычайно медленно

  • WOOOOW YOU"RE AWSOME ESPECIALLY on 6:17

  • Very nice I do like it but dude you need to get that piano tuned. The mid and high rang is out. I used to tun pianos and have a really good ear for it.........AAhhh....yep it is out for shure

  • @skutits69 You don't have to have a good ear to realise that one's out of tune!

  • how amazing! inspiring! I wish i could play rachmaninoff

  • Thank-you so much. I'm so inspired to take up piano once again. Very happy that you have achieved your dream.

  • amazing, btw what are the pictures of? :O

  • @hyonchingonchon They are just random pictures from everywhere in the great nature :)

  • Listened to every seckond with a thrill. Bravo!

Are you preparing something to celebrate Chopin's 200th birthday?

  • @bear211 Thanks so much. I have been practising Chopin's famous polonaise "Heroique", but Im busy with practising other pieces as Im performing very soon.

  • Phenomenal! I have seen the Rach 3 in Carnegie Hall a number of times and also went to the Van Cliburn Competition in Fort Worth many moons ago...Just fantastic stuff...

Please tell me you are a professional and not just an amazingly diligent personal pianist!

  • @tmodi81 Thanks so much for watching my video. To be honest I'm not a professional pianist. I only play as my hobby because I enjoy music so much:)

  • lol, i envy you!

  • Very nice

  • man you awesome talent!

  • Very good

  • awesome. nice work mate.

  • lovely

  • WOW 0.O!!

  • S. Rchmnv is great composer & my fellow countryman. nice perfomance.

  • ... Rachmaninoff is one of my favorite composers ever!!! I just wish I was good enough to play his music. I have some... which I will learn when I'm older.

This is amazing... just amazing!!! :D

  • I was impressed very much!

  • FIVE STARS!!!!!! this even got me totally jittery watching it! holy goodness man, great great job!

  • Great Job!!! It's a wonder you didn't break any strings. :) I love mozart's piano concerto #21

  • @picguy145 Yes, I broke 4 strings to learn the whole piece:)

  • outstanding. Thought you were going to break that Yamaha of yours.

    What an amazing accomplishment. Bravo!

  • i'd take the non-ossia ending (in triplets rather than 8th notes) as it is both clearer to hear and easier (this is the ending most pros use anyway).... The ossia cadenza in the first movement is of course a good choice though.

  • @Geri610 Especially the part starting from 6:15 really gives high blood pressure feeling, hehe :)

  • thank you!

I play almost everyday, as soon as I get free from my work. Average around 45 minutes to 1 hour per day, I think. I started to play piano when I was 8 years old.

I just love the piece. It's one of my favourite concerto. It's such a nice feeling to play the 3rd piano concerto by Rachmaninoff. But I also feel like its giving me high blood pressure due to the speed, hehe:)

  • you have just archived something great. This is not technically demanding, also musically demanding.

  • very nice! i don't have a lot of playing experience with this concerto, but i know the score well, and it is HARD! excellent job

  • BRAVO!! congratulations on learning the Rach 3. You are truly an inspiration. I feel to go back to working on the Rach 2 which I have been going on at for almost a year now!

Very passionate playing. Well done my friend!

    Drunk3nFist.

  • Amazing!!!!!

  • Wow great job! 5 Stars!

  • Bravo!

  • Oh heck, I can do that...okay, no I can't! :D Whew! And this is just a "hobby"? How does one get to this level as "just" a hobby? How much, if any, formal training have you ever had? As some pointed out, maybe you should teach...I'd be your student any time! Really, really nice...very impressive!! "Hobby"...yeah, r-i-i-i-ght! Keep up the awesome work!

  • wish you all best for new year, to learn more masterpieces like this :-) . great!

    5/5

  • at 0:30 the genious rachmaninoff made an extremly genious change in the thoughts of the concerto.. oh and by the way ,, 80% of the concert is away the rythm

  • wow. that's A LOT of freakin notes to learn haha. This must of taken soo much work. You should be proud. Even though its not perfect yet, you've got it playable up to a level where it WILL be nearly perfect pretty soon which is ahead of most professional pianists in the world! Best of luck, keep working at this and don't EVER stop playing! I'm almost done with the 2nd concerto which compared to this beast is quite easier but ALSO a gorgeous masterpiece. Learn that one next please! :-)

  • I'm gonna comment here only about the first minute, but it might also apply to the rest of the entire concert, You should play the left hand a little bit more silent so the melodie of the right hand comes out a bit more. Now it sounds a bit weird somehow because both sound hands sound the same in strenght.

On the other hand, Very, very good!

Oh, and Mery Christmas and a happy newyear ;)

  • Nice finale too dude... Happy new year...

  • Once you finish this piece, you are in a position to play almost any other piece in the piano repertoire. Congratulations.

  • Nice playing dude... Man what piece that you can't play?! You are so damn good... 5 stars..

  • bravo, man.I was waiting for a very ling time to see you playing this mouvement, i like the camera work, but tell me, how did u fell right after finish playing this beast?i would die from emotion......congratulations, man. u must think about a career as a concert pianist........great present for christmas!!!!!!!!

  • You are a wonderful pianist. Merry Christmas

  • Rach 3 really!

  • I was wonder when u played the first movement...then the second...and now the third! Very nice job biokemiker I'm very happy to see a guy like you playing soo good very congratulation...I very hope to see you one day playing this concert with a real orchestra...possibily in my country, Italy :P

    Have a wonderfull Christmas Holydays!

  • Thank you so much and merry Christmas to you as well:)

  • this movement has many of the same chords from first movement

  • wow :O

  • very amazing!! 5*

  • Absolutely fantastic! Really well done! :D

  • What a treat!!! This was awesome. Your whole 2-part performance kept me on the "edge of my chair." Thanks for sharing it!!!

  • You are absolutely fantastic

  • 好.!!! Bravo~**

  • 6:15-6:25 is amazing. Did that passage take you long to learn? I know a small hand wouldn't be able to play that no matter what. Wonderful performance.

  • Yes, it was one of the hard part. As soon as you can reach an octave you will be able to play it (with a lot of practice of course:)

  • Great finish, have you ever think of being a piano teacher ? You stated that you are a hobby pianist but please don't wasted you talent just put it to good ued, congrat again on a job well done.
