You can do this on phantom with no boost. Just nose up as you hit the speed pad on the inside of the turn and cut the apex on the left. Pretty smooth when you pull that off in a race.

Whats awesome about this, is that i was trying for ages to get this trophy, then i checked to see exactly what i was supposed to be doing, and i noticed i already have this trophy,, i guess i should stop leaving games for a while to play others if thats going to happen again.

@thy675 Uses speed boost to boost off the walls of the track and fly up high enough to execute the barrel roll. However, I agree, it is a crazy move. Had a hard time trying to get it myself. x_x

@thy675 Yup. Ya have to approach the curve from a specific angle, then use the turbo or the speed pad or both with the nose of the ship pointing up to get the height for a barrel roll.
