It was very interesting and definitely is one of the best comedy tv shows in history.

I own the entire series, And it's tbe best series ever. Al Bundy is the greatest TV character ever created. And not only is Ed O'Nelll so freaken funny but he also brings a warmth to the character who does love his family though he may not admit it.

Just think, Michael Richards and Rosanne Barr were supposed to be Al and Peggy Bundy. If you paid close attention to the show, you will catch Ed O-Neil or Al making jokes about Rosanne. I can recall him making any jokes about Seinfeld.

The show would have bombed if they went with Michael Richards and Rosanne Barr. It is perfect the way it has been created and I don't see how it can be improved. If you want to see an example of a perfect tv show, watch "Married With Children"

Married with Children will be a difficult show to beat. Why? Because it is perfect. Al Bundy is the only perfect tv show character ever created. They can create something that equals Al Bundy, but never beat that particular character.

Of course, Peggy Bundy over-taken Al Bundy famous character with her character humiliating Al Bundy. But that doesn't mean "Mr. Empty Pants" is a perfect character. It is because Al Bundy is cursed with bad luck.

@RoadChill I am Devoted to Classic OldSchool Television, and Married with Children was to me the GREATEST Sitcom of the 90s. I know it actually started in 87, but it mainly played in the 90's from 90 to 97 so I considered it a 90s Sitcom. It is up there with All in the Family (Best show of the 70s) The Cosby Show (Best Show of the 80s) I Love Lucy (Best Show of the 50's) and of course I have to Include to Wonder Years. I love Married with Children and always will!! Miss these Classics!
