intresting how he holds his guitar. not that I know anything about guitars or anything else musical. someone once said I may not know art but I know what I like, and I like this thanks for uploading this great song.
@123456789mischief - I have heard others comment about the way he holds his guitar. It's a bit unusual and I believe I once heard Tom T. explain why he holds it that way on some country music program on tv. But, I cannot remember his explanation. Mr. Hall has been described by the media as the Hemingway of country music and I agree. His catalog of songs, that dates back to the mid 1960's, is an American treasure. I appreciate your comments. In regard to this art form, I say you have good taste.
@123456789mischief he holds it that way because he learned to play with a guitar strap, that's just to keep it up to where he can play it when standing ;)
@djbullet985 - Thanks for your kind words. I've uploaded about 19 Tom T. Hall videos this past month which are the first I've ever put together or posted on YouTube. I intend to create a series that recognize, what I call, the pioneers of Country Music. They seem to be forgotten, at times, by the very industry they helped create - an industry with humble beginnings that grew into a wealth machine. I hope the caliber of my work is at the level these American legends deserve.
one of the best country songs ever!

Here's how I heard the song, from a different source.
It's faster horses
Younger women
Stronger whiskey
Old dogs
And pick up trucks!
That's from Ted Young, an old waddy from Rugby North Dakota!
