As an environmental engineer, I believe we need to minimize and eventually eliminate the oil drilling process, but the world is not ready to abandon it. If technology was invented 100years ago that didnt rely so heavily on fossil fuels, then it would be a different story; but it has, and we have to deal with it.

The fact that oil is leaking is telling us that the pressure from the well is greater than the pressure of the water. Scientists estimated the well is pusing twenty to seventy thousand PSI. It costs $5.26 a barrel to find and extract oil in the Middle East. It cost $63.71 to extract fossil fuels offshore in the U.S. Currently Oil is averaging $80 a month. DO THE MATH IDIOTS.
