  • @Ladyj0hnson Think of it as lifting, using your glutes/hamstrings rather than sharply kicking to get momentum. You want your body to stay stable as your legs lift up.

  • @cookiemonsterules False, it is quite possible to be 5'4'' and 150 lbs and do this. That's what I weighed when I learned it. I weigh 120 now, and it's easier but it was quite possible before

  • An easier way is to start off in headstand. The one where the head is supported by the interlocked fingers. Slowly begin arching the back and taking the legs over as you begin lifting your head. Pure, dead, easy......

  • Step 7 is flawed- there isn't a perfect 'line' the alignment is slightly arched as the cervical vertibrae is already in extension. This will create 'varied' alignment to the body depending on each persons anatomical make up.

  • That would make sense. Being 11 you have a much lighter body weight and if you regularly do yoga you are probably much more flexible than people who are older. It's always good to start young.
