thats true. actually since the 95 E model merc daimlercrystler have had seriously big problems rust. and this problem is also with the C model S model. some of the models you dont see this in is on the ML and the G models.

yea my dads s500 had issues all the time, i reall like mercedes but the quality makes my dad want to look at lexus and audi instead. he ended up buying a audi a8 l , its much better in quality.

I would have gone with the 7-series, I own a 5 series and love it. just hope mercedes quality goes back up so I can buy it again.
