However, one thing not publicized at Dowling was a following suicide in the weeks following- our honors could've convinced our other friend that we glorified suicide, which wasn't our intent and I'm sure this isn't either. But nobody wants another tragedy, so please be careful in what you say & do. Stay strong!
You have done an amazing job in honoring your friend. I can not imagine the incredible pain the Carico and Nelson families are going through today. Kids, all of you, please know your lives are very valuable. Please know how much you are loved. We are heart broken with these families today.

Although I never met Cameron, he appeared to be a pretty special kid. Such a tragic loss for his family and friends.
I wish he would have sought out help from a friend or adult. Sometimes people believe this is the only way out of a situation or that our problems cannot be alleviated. This is not the solution-there is always a silver lining to the dark clouds in our lives.
Please find help from a friend, loved one, teacher, counselor or pastor if you ever experience feelings like this.
