I didn't know this camaro came with 4 mufflers!, there are two mufflers that run with the Intermediate pipes before the axle, look almost like glasspacks, REMOVE THEM!, and those 40 series Flowmaster's will really have some growl to the car, and make it a lil louder

I am not sure where you get your info, but the 2010 Shelby Cobra does a 12.4 spinning the tires stock. The Camaro does it in 13.0. So the run down is this. The Camaro is 40000 bucks for a 13 second car. The Shelby is a 55000 dollar car for a 12.4 second car and the Mustang GT is a 13.5 second car for 31000. Now what is the better buy? If you look at the difference in horsepower then they are over 100 horsepower different and Both mustangs are within .5

Ford doesn't have much left to work with to boost the power output without pushing more hp, which they won't due in order to keep customers from havin to pay the gas guzzler tax.

You have to remember that the 5.0 is a Ti-VCT DOHC 32V with a 11.0:1 compression ratio engine whereas the LS3 is a single cam push rod motor with only 16V and a 10.6:1 ratio. The 5.0 has a hell of a lot better air flow CFM numbers. Which gives it a better torque curve and high output.

That's the reason I ended up buying a 2011 GT. The manual transmissions still suck though. Tremec wasn't the greatest Ford transmission choice ever but it was a hell of a lot better than the POS Getrag MT82 they're using now. I love the 6speed but wish I had a T56 or TR6060 instead. My MT82 whines like a spoiled 10 year old girl but otherwise I love the car. Damn good fuel economy with plenty of power.

You've only got 3k miles on yours though. Mine didn't start whining until around 7k miles. Currently I'm at 17k miles and it's getting louder. Not taking it in until Ford recalls the 2011 Manuals.

They redesigned the clutch for the 2012 model which fixed SOME of the trans issues.

I'm sure you've seen American Muscles 3.7L that they've got running 11's. Both Lethal and Kelly Performance have 5.0s that are dipping into the low 9's also.

I get between 30-37 mpg on highway (doing the speed limit) but cruising at my own speeds it usually sits around 29-30. Costs $60 to fill and i can get around 600 km on a tank so far. to me that's pretty fkn good..Seeing as my V6 Nissan with 153hp barely gets half that. Yeah AM's 3.7l is siiick.
