  • You should come to Sweden and be my crew's PT. There are too few people up here that are legitimately fit.

    Awesome lift by the way.

  • I like the fact that you mentioned you didn't have good form...very modest, my friend!

  • ive finallly found a trainer that knows what hes doing

  • Hello there Tuan ! I've got a simple , but really important question to ask and I believe that you are the right person to ask ! I'm new at the bodybuilding , 4 months and half by now , however my progress is really nice and I can count myself as intermediate-advanced . I wanna ask - when I'm doing Bench press with barbell , I'm not going for the full range of motion down ( like 4 fingers far from my chest ) . Should I keep training like this , or this will be bad in future and must go for full?

  • @Exorcized1 U do not have to bring the bar all the way down to work the chest but if you limit the range of motion of the movement, it may limit your development of your chest. So the answer is yes and no. People who do not do they mobility exercises and train to create muscle imbalances will create rotator cuff problems that limit their range of motion on any chest exersices. If you want to go full range, you have to train for it, but dont do it if your shoulders cannot handle it

  • @roughneckasian Thank you for the great answer . So it will be better for me overall If I learn to go for full range and train that way . I will definetly be very careful with my shoulders , wont do it with high weight for now , will start easy ! When i started training , my shoulders were my weakest part i believe , they were as big as girl's shoulders :PPP However , they started getting now huuuge :P

  • How tall are you Tuan?

  • You talk about nutrition a lot and power I might have you beat now I might not have the exact physique as you but me and you are pushing the same weight around at the same body weight

  • @elvisflorian If that is true, then that is great. However, as others have said to me, claims are meaningless without the proof. I have just added some annotation lnks to videos such as me benching 405 at 194 lbs, repping 225 lbs for 26 reps, squating below parrelle 534 lbs and deadlifting 556 lbs. Again, all of what I have stated is on video. So I do hope your claims are true. However, unless you post video of what you claim you can do, no one will take you serious. Just my opinion

  • @elvisflorian, why don't you start competing then? then you can brag in person

  • tuan... its awesome to see a NATURAL body builder with great physique. much respect

  • Thank you

  • 10 people don' t wear caps

  • How are you only 183 you look like you'd be 200+ what are you like 5'2

  • @faronsparker Why don't you just back off. No need to speak bad about people.

  • very impressive man! you have a great build and raw power i always watch your videos. Was wondering if im trying to increase my bench should i do sets of low reps like say sets of 4 reps for a while to improve strength? someone told me it was a good thing to do, Thank!

  • @faronsparker it seems that the way in which you carry yourself, and try to put others down to make yourself feel better, is a trait common to those who do not have any confidence in themselves and are weak. I hope that in time your personality becomes as strong as your apparent strength, and your maturity is no longer that of an adolescent. I note at this time that people on steroids tend to act and talk in such a way as you do. Overly macho but insecure deep down. Just an observation. GoodLuck

  • gotta ask ya, is it important to lift real heavy at 1-2 rep for mass gain or should I stick to 8 rep?

  • I am a 14 year old boy and I am 6 feet tall and I weigh 165 and bench 200. Any tips on improving my bench? And I also was wondering, what can I do to make my abs stick out more? Lose more fat or what?

  • @faronsparker wow faronsparker, ur such a tool haha

  • @faronsparker you're an idiot

  • Sorry faronsparker he has a point

  • @faronsparker The Wilks Coefficient or Wilks Formula is a coefficient that can be used to measure the strength of a powerlifter against other powerlifters despite the different weights of the lifters.

Your Wilks score: 116.85 (452 and bodyweight of 275 lbs)

My score: 117.748 (402 and my bodywegiht of 194 lbs)

My score is higher. Science proves I am stronger

Plus my squat and deadlift (which showcases real power) are both higher than yours even though you out weight me by 80 lbs...lol

  • @faronsparker but if you do compete in drug tested federations, then I commend you for that. However, now one drug test better than the USAPL. And they have the largest recognition of all the Powerlfiting Federations when it comes to drug free lifting.

  • @faronsparker here are some stats. RECORDER HOLDER Texas USAPL (drug tested federation) RAW 198 Open's Men (no suits, benchpress shirt or warps unlike you because I have seen your videos and how you need support to lift more weight) 402 Bench AND 536 Squat. Also I have a 556 Deadlift which is higher than yours. Sadly, you look like you compete in the super heavy weights, use suits to improve your lifts and compete in federation that do not drug test. I see a weak minded individual in you

  • @roughneckasian

he's obviously a fat troll and envious. Don't pay him any mind and keep up the good work!

  • what supplements u take?

  • What's your bodyweight and height?

  • I wonder what Tuan;'s height and weight is. I'm 5'9-5'9.5 almost 180 lbs 10% bf. He looks like a beast.

  • He raised his butt-not bad lifting, though

  • Tuan, Keep up the great work. You give great advise and help motivate us. 5 stars!

  • So your natural thats brilliant.....Im natural weigh about 180 pounds, how long did it take you to get to where you are?

  • I had a question i'm a drug free lifter and wondered how often do you shot for improvements in your lifts is it every workout or do you push yourself some workouts and back off other workouts right now im pushing the intensity this cycle and going to back off and work on conditioning the next cycle

  • @VASLEE that is a good approach. all guys training should use some kind of periodization training. There are times to go as hard as you can, there are other times to do more of a recovery workout and even other times to do more work on mobility. If you go as hard as you can for every single workout, it may lead to injury.

  • @roughneckasian what do weight

  • @VASLEE EVERY WORKOUT you don't have to hit a new personal best one rep max every workout though.

  • i like ur videos alot....prob cuz u have the same kinda lifting style i do, a powerlifting/bodybuilding kinda routine. neway good videos nd keep them coming

  • YEAHH TRUANNN!!! SO BEASTT!!!

  • Or you're just a genetic freak, in which case you should NEVER falsely lead people into believing they could achieve a body even REMOTELY close to what you've achieved without steroids. The average man is capable of gaining 22 -25 pounds of muscle without steroids, after roughly four years of training. That's scientifically demonstrated fact. You've most certainly gained more than that, due either to freakish genetics or chemical enhancement.

  • @mikper7 Sorry, but that is absolutely wrong.

  • YOU ARE NOT NATURAL. YOU KNOW YOU'RE NOT NATURAL. A PERSON WITH WRISTS AS SMALL AS YOURS COULD NEVER GAIN AS MUSCLE AS YOU HAVE WITHOUT STEROIDS. YOU ARE NOT NATURAL. YOU KNOW YOU'RE NOT NATURAL. A PERSON WITH WRISTS AS SMALL AS YOURS COULD NEVER GAIN AS MUSCLE AS YOU HAVE WITHOUT STEROIDS. YOU ARE NOT NATURAL. YOU KNOW YOU'RE NOT NATURAL. A PERSON WITH WRISTS AS SMALL AS YOURS COULD NEVER GAIN AS MUSCLE AS YOU HAVE WITHOUT STEROIDS. YOU ARE NOT NATURAL. YOU KNOW YOU'RE NOT NATURAL.

  • does anyone know the song in the background at 1:45? great lift btw!

  • lol he always has his ipod clip to his at if anyone notices that!

  • i have the same headphones! woot! awesome lift bro

  • you're a big inspiration for me, keep it up!

  • Good shit. And the thing you might of forget is breath out but I wasn't doing them. Well good shit man.

  • The bar weigh 45 too

  • absolutely intense. you see guys on roids who aren't even as big as you. inspiring, man.

  • Dam that's some power at 182 lbs. Great job. 2x your body weight for 2 reps is great.

  • amazing lift 400 pounds insane. good luck with your goal. you are my hero =)

  • keepp going...pz

  • Does he ever shut the fuck up and lift? I left..

  • @raisis2k34 and you will never be back, you have been blocked so not need to worry about my talking too much

  • @roughneckasian Ive been watching a lot of your videos and want to know whats your daily foods you eat for nutrition. I'm 6'0 and i way 166 and i want to pick up 20 lbs of muscle by january what routine do you recommend me to build my mass ?

  • @samari07 i have an article up on the web site call simply shredded about my diet. So visit that site for more information. take care.

  • @samari07 nutrition is the key. No matter how much you train, you will never be able to create new muscle without enough of the raw materials from your food. If you need help with this, I provide online training. take care

  • dumb ass you can't arch your back like that. learn how to bench dude seriously if you can't lift why not just go lighter and work up. making a video of that is a joke.

  • @Xytos Hilarious comment from someone that has listed Volleyball as one of their interests. A total bitch sport. I guess you're gonna try and come back by saying you can bench over 400lbs...

  • @Xytos I don't know why people think they can just pop off and insult and criticize someone about something they are obviously very ignorant about. I have competed drug free in powerlifting and bench press contests for 15 years, including the world class level. Arching your back while keeping your butt on the bench is not only legal, it is one of the most effective ways to shorten the distance the bar has to travel, and increase drive and power through the bar to bench heavier. You are a moron,

  • @Xytos how much can you bench buddy?

  • Wauw your body is amazing! Do you use creatine if I may ask?

  • how did you get so ripped??

    watch my video please!!

  • DANG!!! Quite Looking Good(Face)! Super Nice Body(F&B)! Stunning Teeth! What else can you ask for?! Tuan Tran Rock!!! He is off the hook!!! -3 -3 -3

  • Does anybody know the song in the background at 1:10 ?

  • roid monkey.

  • How often do you workout each of your muscle group ? do you do split routine?

  • if you're natural you could probably get to an extremely high level if you juiced. probably a mr. olympia contender your genetics are fantastic. what's stopping you from doing it?

  • OH YEA! YOU ARE MR.NATURAL! lol

  • dude you are very inspiring. and i never realized i could put my ipod on my hat brim. smart man you are mr tran

  • Hey Man what can i do to increase my bench? right now im weak in bench, but my squat is fair.

  • Comment removed

  • you inspire me!

  • dude i got pumped just watching this

  • good shit

  • Awesome vid..can you make some vids talking bout nutrition?

  • stop that idit speak- you a totally out

  • nice thats is awesome, good form to for the most part. hope you get what your achieving to. Im training hard hopefully ill be able to get 350 by the end of the year lol. I have only got to 320 but im pushing my lifting as much as possible best of luck man. good video.

  • @BTBAM13 thanks for the support and good luck with your goal

  • @roughneckasian thanks, keep up the good work

  • so yeah... my name is blake.. i'm 16 and i'm extremely into my lifting, but also into football.. i'm pretty much looking for every bit of advice i can get to better myself at lifting and look pretty much like you man. your inspiring!

  • @B4413 thanks for the support

  • well done man, all your videos are helpful, keep them coming!

  • @brzezynski will do and thanks for the support

  • should you work out each muscle once or twice a week?

  • wow man your awesome bro... thanks for helping me stay motivated i wanna compete next year for my fist time im working hard but having some trouble with my chest but i wanna be all natural and never touch a GH or steroid

  • @308ct learn more about nutrition and the power of food. nothing is better when it comes to fueling the body and making you grow

  • Nice pressing man.

  • Top work for someone only 198 lbs very impressive good slow controlled motion, keep up the good work and making videos one of the best natural bodybuilders I know of keep it that way.

  • tuan ignore those rude ass comment made by these fat nerds behind the computer who obviously just type up bs lies about what they can lift and what not when they cant even bench 135.....

your a great lifter and your one of the reasons why i keep lifting. bigs up man

  • ur my hero tuan

  • 1 SUPERHOTT TRAINER!!!!

  • Awesome vid Tuan keep em coming bro

  • It is lifters like yourself that make going to the gym a pleasant experience.

  • impressive !!

  • damn good impressive

  • Hey Tuan what kind of workout do you do to workout the lower chest? and when do you bench do you always trying to go heavy?

  • 165 kg with that body??? then u suck))

  • @kukurishk funny, last 4 powerlifting meets, I was able to win first at all of them. Is a 402 bench press weak fo a 198 lbs guy going RAW (no bench press shirt or wrist warps). So you must have an impressive bench if this is consisdered weak. Would love to see your video on how much you do

  • @roughneckasian weak weak) i'm 71 kg and i do 147 kg bench press

  • @kukurishk well my friend, then you are a very stong bencher. But as I have had other users make comment toward me, I will make the same comment to you. Anyone can make all the claims in the world about what they can do when it comes to talking. Actions speak loader than words, so when you post that video, you will make a believer out of me. Until then, the burden of proof is on your shoulders. I hope you are not one who just talks but one that acts

  • @roughneckasian i'm just sayin that u have big arms ur , wonderin why u cant bench more??i'm not sayin that is too bad its ok but i think u should bench more than so i just think so i dont know.

  • @kukurishk just because a guy is over 6 feet tall does not mean he can dunk a basketball. Besides, 402 at 198 is over double my body weight and at the last 4 powerlifting meets in the RAW (no equitment what so ever, no even a weight belt) that I have competed at, I have the highest bodyweight vs weight ratio. Last, maybe you should use better languege when typing. Calling people "weak" and "u suck" does not show good character. So post up your video and proveto us u r not just full of lies

  • @kukurishk look up eryk bui

hes much bigger (pro bodybuilder) but still "only" gets 405 once

    tuan you are awesome

    stay natural

  • @kukurishk how much can you squat?

  • @Marine475 i don't know, i haven't tried how much i can squat but i train with 140 kg

  • This guy is the truth. Gives me motivation for what can be achieved naturally.

  • @mailmepizza its people like you that motivate me to keep making these videos. thanks for the support

  • @mailmepizza im 19 all natural and have around a 450 max bench good form to.

  • @TAKEMARU666 That's nothing. I'm three-years-old with a max bench of 725.

  • @TAKEMARU666 that I would like to see. When you have that video up, please send me an invite.

  • @roughneckasian i dont know how set up that kind of stuff and so on lol i hear you need progams and stuff also. but at any rate im 290 pounds. 5 foot 10. stalky and big i work out like once or twice a week to keep my strength. just been naturally strong. but also im 290 pounds lol still good but im a heavy set guy. i think id be 230ish or 240ish if i dropped extra padding HA, i just turned 20 tho last week. if i took a bunch of crap and so on and trained for strongman i know id be really good.

  • @roughneckasian also keep it up man, you should feel very proud. dont worry about being the best or anything of that sort. you have good drive and confidence, what a nice strong benchpress roar lol. you probably know that but i hope my complement helps.

  • @roughneckasian It's pretty obvious this guy has had a pretty nice superhero dream. I'm no expert but 450 with good form for a 19 year old sounds abit insane, special if it's all natural.

Anyway, I've started to watch your videos, Tuan, trying to work up the courage to start working out at the local studio.

I'm already pretty active when it comes to sports, specially basketball, bicycling and jogging. But I would like to get some muscles because I'm pretty skinny. 186cm and about 75 kg.

  • @mailmepizza

    your clueless.

  • @CRUSADERE Well we're all entitled to our opinion. I think if a guy has good genetics and does everything right for a number of years it is possible to look like this guy naturally.

  • damn good bench for the body weight

  • strong stuff

  • Good lifting but damn you talk way tooooo much.

  • thats awesome, I'm seriously on my way to the gym now because of this(..I was gonna take the night off). Hey, what is it called when you, after maxing out, quickly go down in weight and do as many reps till failure, and then repeat steps with even lower weight. Is it effective? I see a lot of guys doing that lately.

  • its called a drop set. trying to burn out the muscle completely. to a point where you cannot even lift at the lightest weight

  • fuckin beast man

  • Hey Tuan, are you Khmer?

  • Hey Tuan, I think you and I have the same mp3 player. Do you have the Mambo Clamp? What kind of battery life do you get on yours? Mine usually dies on me while at the gym and I'm forced to listen to "lady gaga" on the gym radio station.

  • Awesome stuff, these clips really are inspiring! keep up the good work!

  • Hey Tuan! You are awesome. I got 2 questions and i hope you dont mind :) I have been working out for 2 years now and got some good gains etc, but now it just seem to go very slow. You got any advice to what i should do to get some new gains? And the male "cleavage" or what you can call it, i have a hard time develop it. Is it something that will come over time or is there specific exercises that will do it? :) thank you

  • hey man, you are an inspiration! keep up the good work!

  • damn, INSPIRATION!!! That's what I wanna be able to do....and btw, your jog/sprint advice has so far been the best i've used to burning fat fast, THANX!!

  • glad to hear about your fat loss. keep it up

  • indeed sir, indeed.

  • hey Tuan, i'm a fan. just wanna know if you juice? if not what kind of supplement are you taking?

  • no juice or any other black market or doctor order drugs. as for everyday supplements, multi vit. vit. c, bcaa, glucosamine for the joints, flax seed oil

  • No creatine aye???

  • Well done sir

  • Impressive dude.

  • Not bad, im stuck at 395lbs for my one rep max raw

  • How often do you do cardio in your offseason/powerlifting season.

  • just for warm up and recovery between workouts. very lite

  • What do you think of dips(weighted or regular)? And would you prefer the parallel bench dips and if so why?

  • do u do wipers?

  • Good lifts bro!!!

  • I like this guy

hey what are you listening to anyway

  • System Of A Down - Chop Suey

  • Two of the really handsome men in bodybuilding today.

  • wow, im philip tran, and whats funny is that my face kinda looks like u, and im a bodybuilder too, but . . . . my goal is way bigger than urs lol, but im 15 i still got some time to get to it ;] gl n hf on ur next lifts n comps

  • i bet you'll never get half as big as tuan.

  • um. im 180 pounds dude. im just not cut as much as him. and how much did u bet? cuz seriously, im planning to get bigger but not in 2 months u kno, in about 8-12 years.

  • thats a smart bodybulder..respects to u tuan,,and amazing teqniques

  • thanks for the support, but i got to clean it up somewhat before my first powerlifting meet for the year. that pause at the bottom is rough when you have to wait for them to tell you when to press.

  • That is crazy strength! And good to see a 300lbs+ bench that is a complete lockout unlike most videos on this site.

  • no choice in a powerlifting meet. you got to lock for it to count. thanks for the support

  • great bench, almost 2x bodyweight!

  • So fantastic. I love all your posts.

  • whenever someone accuses me of being on steroids I take it as a complement. Then tell them I am not. If they dont believe me, I really dont care.

  • holy shit...represent strong/badass Asian people....like Bruce Lee, Jet Li, jackie chan...im drunk, but holy shit, that's a lot of weight.

  • doing what i can, thanks for the support

  • You are one powerful dude. Keep it up. I'm a trainer and I always learn a little something from your videos. You've got a great attitude. Blessings.

  • i too am always learning. never stop training the mind along the the body. thanks for the support

  • Why do some people always say Most Bodybuilders are on roids?

  • thats just how our society is today wanting everything yesterday. but i hope the rev. that train of thought when it comes to fitness for it is not the end of the journey but the difficulty of the journey that makes it worth wild

  • np ty

  • I am on your side brother. Good genetics then.

I wish you a lifelong successfulness in our thing and your life.

  • i understand your feelings.

I competed in my country too that they tested us. We are all roid free what they said. But you and i know how to result negative..

You know its a game we play. Nobody diets for us nobody trains for us. Thats all we know thats all we suffer. Peace.

    Good form though ; )

  • thats your country then. there are plenty of good bodybuilders and powerlifters in this country that r drug free. we just dont get the exposer because of the roided up individuals. if you want to take roids and other drugs, that your choice. but making claims against others just off a vid is another thing.

it would be like me saying u r a roided up fag thats racies against all asians that have build bodies.

of course i do not mean what i just typed but do you get what i am saying

  • again i just wanted to make sure that you understand that i was just making a point.

i DO NOT THINK you are a roided up fag...etc.

but in the future, think about what claims you would like to make against others for you would like the be judged without fairness as well?

hope this opens you up to a differents persective and be more thoughfull about you comments in the future

  • Was the 'fag' epithet really fucking necessary in your defense? Damn man.

  • i was making a point. the stronger the word, the shaper the point. again, just making a point, so i do apologize for using the word, but not for why I used it for it shows how powerful words can be when used to attack someone.

just like how that the user angelossi used certain words like "roids" to try to discredit my hard work and effort as a natural bodybuilder/powerlifter. he did come around some my point was made though my approach was fierce

  • Just didn't think it was at all necessary to disparage a whole other group that had nothing to do with your grievance with 'ol' dude just to make your point. But I appreciate the explanation. .

  • roids.

  • that is your opinion and i can see that it maybe hard to believe that anyone that is successful can not be clean in this day and age. however, i will let my actions speak for me.

Drug Tested Federations I have competed in both powerliftng and bodybuilding:

NGA, FAME, Musclemania, INBF, WBDLF, USE Powerlifting, Aggie Powerlifting Invitatioal, Texas Shredder Classic

Also my vid called "Tuan Tran ALL NATURAL ATHLETE How I Looked At 14 Years Old."

AGAIN, MY ACTIONS vs. angelossi's words

  • Tuan, do you have some tips to increase te weight on the benchpress? I'm stuck on my benchpress for about a half a year. How did you improve your BP?

  • look up westside barbell webpage. you may get some good info there
