I watched the 8 parts on YouTube. At the beginning of the movie it says "Based on a true story" then at the end it says "All parts, the story, the names, the characters, are fictitious." . So which one is it? Anyone know? Doberman in the movie was beautiful and the movie did show Doberman devotion. The little girl was cute too. Too bad it was a stupid plot.

Wow!!! Amazing video. I just watched it for the first time and it made me so proud to be a Doberman owner. I just got a Doberman puppy in December from a shelter and he is the best dog I ever owned and it makes me happy to know that I gave him a better life then the previous owners did.

It reminds me of my dog rocky.He was put to sleep today,because he had a tumer in his stomach and there was nothing they could do to save him,but to get him out of his pain. he was 11 human years old,but was always a loyal,protecting, and never the less BEST DOG IN THE WORLD.

I watched this movie & couldn't believe the beauty of this animal. I alway's loved Dobes since I was a little kid in Sweden. Most police and army in them day's used the Dobermanns and I found them to be such big, proud looking dogs.
Now at the age of 40 + I work as a K-9 dog handler in the Security industry in Australia. I found my self the most amazing Dobe. He is so intelligent and he is fearless. He never stops to amaze me - at home he is a clown & a softie, at work he is simlply the KING !
I just watched this video...you did a great job!!!! About 5 years ago around the corner from my moms ..I found out there was a dog fighting house..they were stealing people's puppies in the neighborhood. I went there, The guy told me to leave or I would regret it...well I stayed there till the Detroit Animal Cops came and closed them down...I would do it again in a heartbeat.

I've never heard of this movie but now i know it has a doberman pinscher in it, I want to see it!! :) I've done a lot of research on this breed but one thing I can't find is whether a male or a female would be a better companion for me? I hear males get along better with female owners and vice versa with female dogs. So I'm not too sure.

i watch this moive. i have never had a doberman pincher. Im getting one know this movie is fucking inspireing. This doberman is so determinded to find that litter girl that it would never stop running the dogs feet were bleeding and it kept running!!! Why wouldnt you want to get a dog that would do that for you. Is there anyone you know that would give your life for you and run across the country just to see you smile. What a dog.

@4everadhd i'm getting one too, but I hope you've researched the breed enough to be prepared how expensive they can be with care and cost, not to mention the time and training that goes into one... they are the best breed for me too, but movies are movies and dogs are real... they can be that loyal, but they need appropriate care and attention (not left alone for hours at a time) to make it an ideal situation for both of you.
@4everadhd Doberman are pretty loyal and they love to be w their owners but you need to be firm with your training as they are alpha personality dogs and they will challenge you if you do not establish yourself as the pack leader. They also require a lot of exercise they need MUCH More exercise than the average dog!! And they do eats a lot because they are so active and the ears need to b cropped to look the same way as the one in the movie otherwise they flop & r prone to infections.
@4everadhd But if you have the money, your not afraid to b a pack leader and you like to stay active or have a lot of land to keep the dog happy, than by all means! Our is amazing he our best friend but a strangers worst nightmare, if he doesn't know u and you come into the house uninvited he will attack! Yet at the same time he more than happy to meet new ppl jus not on in his home, and he VERY gentle with kids!! He held his nose out to a 2 yr old and jus stood there it was so cute!
I mean, don't buy a dog and leave it in the middle of the desert, cuz you want to see him running until he bleeds, cuz he'll probably get lost and die.

Wow!!! Amazing video. I just watched it for the first time and it made me so proud to be a Doberman owner. I just got a Doberman puppy in December from a shelter and he is the best dog I ever owned and it makes me happy to know that I gave him a better life then the previous owners did.

thank you for this video. It reminds me of my dog rocky.He was put to sleep today,because he had a tumer in his stomach and there was nothing they could do to save him,but to get him out of his pain. he was 11 human years old,but was always a loyal,protecting, and never the less BEST DOG IN THE WORLD.

When we first saw this video, it was about 50K plays; So many of us on Facebook of Doberman friends, worldwide, were very touched by it. Enough that I bought the video also. I loved sharing my pictures and videos of my dogs also; Kane, Dobie, Zsa Zsa, Magnum and Scarlett.....they guard my house and daughter every day; travel everywhere we go also....all of them! They are a great breed! Again, Thanks Real Dawg....ha....I know! Great video and editing you did brings the movie to life here!

I watched this movie & couldn't believe the beauty of this animal. I alway's loved Dobes since I was a little kid in Sweden. Most police and army in them day's used the Dobermanns and I found them to be such big, proud looking dogs.
Now at the age of 40 + I work as a K-9 dog handler in the Security industry in Australia. I found my self the most amazing Dobe. He is so intelligent and he is fearless. He never stops to amaze me - at home he is a clown & a softie, at work he is simlply the KING !

I just watched this video...you did a great job!!!! About 5 years ago around the corner from my moms ..I found out there was a dog fighting house..they were stealing people's puppies in the neighborhood. I went there, The guy told me to leave or I would regret it...well I stayed there till the Detroit Animal Cops came and closed them down...I would do it again in a heartbeat.

To all you dog lovers and doberman lovers especially what do you think would make for a better story a doberman who make a huge impact on not so close knit family, or a doberman who has an adventure and run into a pack of dogs but choose his family over the pack of dogs, after falling for his lil boy master. @llyj My uncle larys dog...Samantha or Sammy as we called her...she had to be put down because her legs started getting shaky and eventually stopped working...and before I knew I looked around his house one day and asked where she was...and "She's dead" broke my heart, she was the most loving golden retriecer that you probably would ever see.... R.I.P. Sammy, one of the best dogs in the world </3

I've never heard of this movie but now i know it has a doberman pinscher in it, I want to see it!! :) I've done a lot of research on this breed but one thing I can't find is whether a male or a female would be a better companion for me? I hear males get along better with female owners and vice versa with female dogs. So I'm not too sure.

I have owned and loved Dobermans since 1974, and this movie is the best representation of the love, and devotion of the Doberman. Based on a true story, this film is treasured by every Dobe owner, and will melt the heart of the non believer or one who is prejudice against this wonderful and regal breed of dog. Difficult to find to purchase, but can be seen on cable tv on occasion. A must see for any dog lover! If you don't cry at this one, you have no heart.....

Dobies Rock... my dobie is my bestfriend and I love him to death.. his name is caesar and he is the most loyal dog i have ever seen... he would not eat or sleep in comfort unless he is sure that i am fine.. he follows me every where.. should anyone try to harm me... u would find him the third in the fight if not the first... he is awesome and most of all.. being a female and gaving him around makes me feel safe to walk late in the evening... he is awesome.. beautiful and very affectionate..

i watch this moive. i have never had a doberman pincher. Im getting one know this movie is fucking inspireing. This doberman is so determinded to find that litter girl that it would never stop running the dogs feet were bleeding and it kept running!!! Why wouldnt you want to get a dog that would do that for you. Is there anyone you know that would give your life for you and run across the country just to see you smile. What a dog.

@4everadhd i'm getting one too, but I hope you've researched the breed enough to be prepared how expensive they can be with care and cost, not to mention the time and training that goes into one... they are the best breed for me too, but movies are movies and dogs are real... they can be that loyal, but they need appropriate care and attention (not left alone for hours at a time) to make it an ideal situation for both of you.

@4everadhd Doberman are pretty loyal and they love to be w their owners but you need to be firm with your training as they are alpha personality dogs and they will challenge you if you do not establish yourself as the pack leader. They also require a lot of exercise they need MUCH More exercise than the average dog!! And they do eats a lot because they are so active and the ears need to b cropped to look the same way as the one in the movie otherwise they flop & r prone to infections.

@4everadhd But if you have the money, your not afraid to b a pack leader and you like to stay active or have a lot of land to keep the dog happy, than by all means! Our is amazing he our best friend but a strangers worst nightmare, if he doesn't know u and you come into the house uninvited he will attack! Yet at the same time he more than happy to meet new ppl jus not on in his home, and he VERY gentle with kids!! He held his nose out to a 2 yr old and jus stood there it was so cute!

i cried an'all,during the whole video.i lost my Xena in april to a cancer.there is not a better dog than a dobermann,although i didn't consider Xena a dog.she was a person.
