  • Samsung got this one better

  • It's too shiny, the light reflecting is too strong, they should improve it and make it kinda like a non-glossy, or reduce the reflecting light,.. or something like that..

  • @FenrirSurrendra It's shiny to us because the camera is at an angle to the screen. It's not shiny to the user.

  • Make a blanket and then i will be impressed!

  • In a few more years screens will become obsolete as oscillating led technology will produce a holographic touch screen generated by a computer no larger than an I-phone.

  • Ipad 3?

  • great product, but why all that reflective finish?

  • wow. flexible LCD now used for stalking, Pedobear would be proud

  • im waiting for wallpaper on the wall.. and for plafond too.. watching the stars.. should be cool.. alexies texas abbey brook and czhech angie on the wall.. wouw i love future...:)

  • He's not trying to bend it completely, can you guys see what he's doing? he's zooming in and in and in and more in. Then he un ends it and it zooms out

  • I can see it now, don't take your kids down the cereal aisle once this technology gets cheaper lol. :)

  • Will it bend?

  • I wouldn't risk putting it in my pocket.

  • I think that's stupid! it's like a bendy ruler!!! what's the point... it's cool at the begginning but when you bend it to much it has a kink in it! or with this it will snap! this would proberly be a couple hundred if not more, why would I want something that's going to be the same as any other tablet but bends a little! t(-_-t)

  • annoying as hell just zoom all the way in with your unsavvy self..thats like driving behind someone that hits the gas and hits the brake and hits the gas and hits the brake....and hits the gas and hits the brake and hits the gas and hits the brake

  • chipsets need to be flexible too and then were talking :D. So close to flexible stuff. Cant wait what's gonna be in use in five years time, if we don't die next year of course... ;P hahah

  • I'll wait for screens that can be rolled into a tube.

  • LOL u can tell by his hands that he is scared of bending it to much

  • @MrDevlance lol

  • just ignore the massive inevitable glares?

  • Are you taking the piss?

  • @cass2chk not really they hit the shit out of it with a hammer and nothing happens to it that kida the point of it it wont brake at all and nokia made of phone that uses this screen

  • more like "man flexes toshibas paper thin muscle"

  • ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS. WTF WILL THIS WORLD BE LIKE WHEN IM 30

  • Running on IOS

  • This made my latest LED TV model obsolete. Screens made out these may practically change weights, practical screen- change-overs from small to personal HUGE screens that are inter-active. Just have a TV mainframe and have the TV screens be changed from different sizes or of multiple interactive (touch) screens plugged for different rooms (with just one mainframe source)

  • Not practical for mobile or movement use. SO fragile to carry around. A carefree user of daily usage, gadget is busted for short period use. Practical in homes for huge TVs, malls, ball or game parks, office or business or schools. Who wants to invest or buy if maintenance is costly?

  • Still has to be plugged in like everything else. Will never be a true flat screen

  • This will make a great toilet paper that will allow you to wipe your ass not just with Obama's face but with his entire speech!

You will even be able to hear Obama's speech from inside your ass and from the bottom of the toilet.

After you flush Omaba's speech, you will hear his speech as it travels through the drain pipe haha and goes further and further into the distance!

  • why cant they make flexible yet retractable tablets that can expand to 10 inches than retract to a 3 inch size?

  • funny comment below me....crack OOOO

  • *snap*

  • HAHA "i can almost see my house, just a bit more" (bends) "almost" (bends more harder) CRACK "ooh sh*t im outta here"

  • Stop saying "will it blend" what a stupid idiots, EVEN MORE idiots those who Thumb up

  • Will it Blend?

  • oooo, I wonder how long till I can by a roll up laptop, funky

  • Your not bending it hard enough.

  • make 180 degree 1080p flex screen for gaming. please, oh please do.

  • Too much bending may lose your warranty. :D

  • The question is...... Will it bend?!

  • five-layered toilet paper ???

  • Woo like we haven't ever seen this before

  • what the heck is that????

  • Now if we could just get rid of that damn cord.

  • @spidermaster14 give it a few generations after it officially comes out worldwide :D

  • @spidermaster14 One thing at a time ! :D

  • @spidermaster14 your never gona so dont ask you would need it there even in wireless yes you need some cord of a sort to put power to the individual led

  • nice one

  • its called OLED not LCD

  • @Awesomeps3gamer1 OLED is and LCD that is back lit by LEDs instead of florescent tubes. This device doesn't appear to have any kind of light, so it would be LCD. With that said, why not just use a regular paper map if you'll need a flashlight to read it on anything other than a sunny day anyway.

  • @MatthewJamesMullin As far as I know, LED it backlit by LED's, but one LED lights several pixels around it. OLED has every single pixel light up individually. (And is also flexible)

  • @1MadVirus1 I looked it up and it would seem you are correct sir. LCDs that are lit by LEDs are newer than the florescent back lit monitor that I have which sadly is showing early signs of the florescent tubes failing. With this new knowledge what I saw in this vid just got a lot cooler.

  • Great i can finally wipe my ass with toilet paper in 240p

  • And that's a new generation of Imat !!

  • JIZELS

  • oh that's so interesting.

  • iphone5?

  • ...because multi-touch is so last century

  • I would say that this is useless and is very fragile, but I won't say it because there are creative ppl that will make something useful out of this, they probably have a bunch of ides because they need a reason to invest money into making something like this.

  • @megamanxu ummm. Have you seen the hammer test. They took a hammer and smashed it on the screen and this thing was still running.

  • Copadísimo!!! :)

  • Psh, can't beat Samsung's Super Amoled Plus display

  • @Sense648 I agree. Just research it if you doubt. Samsung is the largest company in touchscreen devices for cell phones, plus they provided Apple with their processors for some time. Samsung shared their patents with Apple. Apple got their feathers all fluffed up in a bunch because Samsung is rising to the top. Yes Apple is the Pioneer in Touch phones but doesn't mean nobody else can make one either. Try to patent a cheeseburger or T-shirt hahahaha. Get real Apple!

  • What? WTF?!?!

  • Future of computers here. They will be like disposable paper. They will disappear like electricity in the modern household.

  • I guess Harry Potter is true.

  • Whats the practical function of a flexible screen?

  • I can't wait for the future oh wait here it is!

  • -RRIIIPPPP- oh shit

  • Screw pinch to zoom. Im getting flex to zoom.

  • Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck so cool

  • if thats paper thin than you must use some thick ass paper

  • God... The fight between IOS and Android is so stupid... It's just like the 360 and the PS3... I just use what's works best for me. For me android is better, because its open source. While i think IOS is also pretty cool. Every OS got its pro's and cons.

By the way: APPLE COPIED THE WORD IOS FROM NINTENDO!!! From the Wii's IOS! Why doesn't Apple get sued? While Apple sues every smartphone who is a rectangle?

  • @barmazuz Every company who's smartphone's rectangle*

  • that's an OLED not an LCD screen.. wowowoowowowoowow

  • new toilet paper for rich people. love to whipe my ass while in a JB video :D

  • @DigitalBeatsMX Jeff Bridges is a good actor though...

  • ohshit i wrinkled it

  • this things not 4 fat ppl or ppl with big fingers because ;P

  • can you fold it?

  • Flex to zoom!

  • too bad all the actual computer stuff is the box below and \not thw flexi part. Now for flexi computers!

  • dam it why was i born poor

  • our science teacher told us about that bending computer theres also a bendy tv one

  • oh shit it riped.....

  • Besides that horrible glare....

  • some ppl are so ignorant

  • I can see this in the future like having X-rays like this and being able to zoom in and out people's X-rays

  • @CrazyIvan101 i wounder if they contemplated flexi solar panels to go with if there is no battery lol

  • HARRY POTTER STYLED NEWSPAPERS :O

  • sooo thin wonderfull

  • that's LED not LCD

  • Comment removed

  • @dpaik360 LED is still LCD with Light emitting diodes (LED) as backlighting instead of regular bulky bulbs...

  • @mlpt1000 wrong...LCD has liquid inside....LED does not...hence you can bend it without distorting the image

  • @dpaik360.. you're kind of confused.. LED is only the back lighting element that allows for thinner panels.. Liquid crystals wont allow light to pass but they bend when stimulated with some electricity which allows light behind them to pass on each pixel. LED TV is a marketing name which makes it sound more appealing to regular buyers. again LED TVs are LCD TVs which uses Light Emmiting Diodes (LED) as backlight instead of the bulkier cold-cathode fluorescent lights (CCFL)..its a marketing ploy

  • @dpaik360 u dont have a clue whAT ya on about

  • @girlsdrinkfeck uhhh...LED...light emitting diodes....LCD...liquid crystal display...there's a difference...you can't bend LCD like that without distorting the image...sorry...you don't have a clue what YOU'RE talking about

  • @dpaik360 no u dont idiot ,read the title

  • @girlsdrinkfeck dude...it could say shit eating human being up there and it wouldn't matter...doesn't mean that it's right just because it's in the title...the OP is wrong....LCD has LIQUID in the display so when you bend it it'll change colors....LED doesn't do that because there's no LIQUID in the display...holy crap...just shut up

  • @dpaik360 but it is a LCD display ,toshiba started making it about 8 years ago ,its LCd like it or not ,not LED ,LED is the backlight they use in LCD TVs

  • @girlsdrinkfeck

here, i'll put it this way, LED may be the backlight, but in this case it is both the backlight and the screen which is why it is so thin.

Specifically this is 'OLED' (organic light emitting diode).

  • @girlsdrinkfeck i'm done with you man...think what you want...but i'm right....google it

  • @dpaik360 no im right ,and i have googled it ,i seen this few years ago on many articles ,its a type of LCD not LED, its flexible LCD the resolution is low so the pixels can flex without breaking the form

  • @girlsdrinkfeck i give up...you win..whatever...OLED is still the best

  • @dpaik360 indeed i love my super AMOLED + samsung screen

  • @girlsdrinkfeck okay.jpg

  • the new newspapers for rich ppl

  • @omardude9 Wait a couple years, then we all mortals will have access to it :)

  • old news

  • It looks so greasy... I'll pass

  • No they just took tge touch screen out of tge hard covet look at the bottom of the pad

  • looks annoying -,-

  • my god! make it matte!

  • Don't ask how to change the direction... DOHHHHHHH

  • Don't buy Toshiba, worst tv I ever bought.

  • Apple is the worst. Its what they are known for, taking already marketed products, rebranding them with that stupid apple, changing the ui and design, and calling it innovation. Then they sue the company that first created the product, or others selling similar products claiming some bullshit patents, just like micro$oft. I steered clear of microshit when I discovered Linux back in 2000. Android is the only true innovation in the mobile market, and Google is paving the way.

  • @w3bbgh0st True but iSheeps think Apple and their genius Steve Jobs created every technology known to men.

  • @JamesL0717 OMFG you can´t say that in any better way. Fucking iSheeps. Fucking Steve Jobs.
