The Idea is to limit goverment so we dont have to pay taxes. Then wall street wouldnt get money for free. they would have to earn it. They would have to compete like the rest of us. That would mean they have to create jobs. No more goverment hand outs because the goverment wouldnt have the money. we would

@landscapewizard08081 Wall street has never created jobs, they just supply the money to companies that need it to create more jobs. So shutting down wall street wouldn't create jobs, it will kill the money supply needed to create jobs and even keep jobs already existing.

@mrfrednoname The money is being moved, i don't know if you know this but last month the stock market had 73% volume that was done by computers with machines on the market floor, that make money on both sides of a trade, the fed is owned by banks and so is all the other fed reserves in the other citys, the board is picked by the local banks, that is where the power comes from.Also not one person was put in jail and Europe is about to collapse, so it is going to fail anyway, it is the beginning.

@mrfrednoname hardly anyone wants to shut down wall street, they want the banks to start reforming and people to be thrown in jail, the problem is they are te very gate keepers of the system that make the laws, so that won't happen without protest and pressure, that is exactly what these people are doing, either that or enjoy the end of the dollar and the fall of Europe and the debt crisis and do nothing, the people will lose everything, the banks will transfer the remaining assets of the poor.

Keep going!!! I got a 5 day weekend coming. I'm coming in 2 weeks if I can. Everyone needs to use there vacation times from work and if your looking for a job go to your nearest protest and spread the word in the meantime that just because your unemployed your exhausted of being depressed and stressed about your finances and the complete feeling of helplessness. @kenbo63 the point that is pressing the most seems to be:

End to corruption / the democracy back from the corp (depend on how you will put it)

and equality, witch would count for healthcare jobs, higher taxes on the rich etc.

(cannot speak for every one but that is the impression I get for the movment, after following it closely for a couple of weeks)

It's not going to be as easy as it was over there, so I'm sure they're saving something really good for when WE start to get uppity. The governments did indeed make some stupid moves but the people should have not let it happen in the first place. There needs to be political reform world wide, the current systems we use are old and out dated. The role of government needs to be reverted to what it was designed to be. Lets live in a world where people come first. Going to school and being conditioned to be a 'productive' worker 5 days/week is economic slavery, lets have some purpose and love behind our societies.
