the reason u have lower fps in the editor is the fact that the editor itself is much more data-intensive than the actual game.

of course, my alienware 15x can run it at over 150 fps :)

I think it plays the game itself (1080p w/ everything on high except for audio and textures which are at very high) at 60. I haven't run it with the console on, though.

I haven't had any problems and it runs everything I do perfectly, and I do some pretty demanding stuff like rendering multiple animations/ videos while playing oblivion or Crysis.

Also, the fans are silent. I didn't even know they were running until I put my ear to it.

It's because the water, in today's games, is not ruled by physics. It is simply a sequenced texture, that moves like an ocean's surface. When you go under that surface, you arrive in another environment, made to look like as if you were underwater. The fact is, nobody, before a long time, will put physics on water for realtime rendering. Imagine the number of calculations your comp would have to realize for each tiny water molecule...

No, YOU do not understand what Crysis is about. Crysis is a long DirectX 10/CryEngine 2 demo, showing the capabilities of the engine. Nothing else. THe story is shit. Plotholes everywhere. As a game, Crysis is shit. Warhead makes it up again, putting more gameplay depth.

Also, the engine sucks. It's totally unoptimised and runs shit, delivering less visual quality on a playable FPS,while CoD is simple but effective, delivering graphics AND FPS on a shit system.Crysis=unoptimised.

get a japanise motherboard and put 4x 295 gtx cards (cus in america with intel u can only put 2 which also own crysis) so with 4 best graphics cards (6g of graphic memory) u can play 3 crysis games on ultra high, 12x aa & aft on the 40 inch 1080p with 50 ffr or play 1 game with 111 frames :D (japanise)
