I don't know how many times you record stuff, but I think on one video a long time ago I did the video 15 times, and by the 15th take, it really didn't carry the spirit of the 1st take. Nor perhaps the content, since by take 8 I've already forgotten what I've said in this take vs other deleted takes.

I let the tape run on if I take a 2nd or 3rd/4th... take and use the best parts of each take.
