  • my grandma lives, there right next to the El Dorado hotel, she has a mechanic parts shop(I think she turned it into something else),should be right next to some sort of casino iirc.Haven't been there in at least 10+ years.Good Times

  • Amigos Iquitos se veria mejor si usaran una mejor tecnología, de todas maneras vale.

  • viva ecuador

  • There is no need to return a comment, you are not intelligent enough about this to get into a verbal pissing contest with me. Secondly I don't give a damn what you think.

No hay necesidad de volver un comentario, no son lo suficientemente inteligentes acerca de este para entrar en un concurso de meadas verbales conmigo. En segundo lugar no me importa un bledo lo que piensa.

  • English version: I doubt if you are such a patriot for Ecuador when it comes to the shooting war. You are most likely a armchair warrior who sits at the internet cafe and thinks he is a liberator or warrior of significances. I doubt if you were on the border during the last war. You most likely were sitting back and sucking on your mama's tit, or reading some socialist bull shit in Mao's little red book.

  • English version: I would say you should study the history of the area, and understand the background of the countries that you are talking about. All the land mass of Ecuador, and a large part of western and central Colombia at one time were part of the Inca Empire which is what is now known as Peru. So basically you as an Ecuadorian you and the people of Peru have the "exact" same blood in your veins.

  • @sharky5921, Motocarts. If they get lost I tell them it is there fault. Before I get in a motocart, I ask one question; "How Much to take me to Etc?" If I think the price is to high, I tell them thank you and yell for another cart. If you are a gringo, (turista) they are going to GOUGE you for all they can. You should be able to pretty much ride anywhere in town for about 2 solace. They are all hustlers.

  • @Tritonnl wow hahahahaha!!!!!! That motorcar dude didn't know that u don't mess with ghetto people and crazy people but it's sad to see them dumpster dive

  • Ketsup does suck there I was there for a year

  • @sharky5921 Yeah, the ketsup is home made. I think the old man, who started it came up with the formula, he passed a way some years ago. I have dated a couple of girls that worked there, and they both told me do not eat there. I asked why? You should see the kitchen area and you would not eat here. So I do not eat there any more. Girls work almost for tips, I was told they made 125 USD per month, 6 day work week 8 to 10 days. I eat on the waterfront in Punchana, or Riki Tiki,.

  • @sharky5921, what were you doing in Iquitos for a year?

  • @Tritonnl My mom needed to help take care of my grandpa (he retired to Iquitos and we r not Peruvian) and I think they put sugar in the ketsup cuz it tastes too sweet

  • @Tritonnl Aris does sucks too but my grandpa eats there everyday.I ate theire once and never want to go again and he also lives in punchana. My mom and I both agreed that the yellow rose of Texas is much better. I miss chicha but I don't miss motor cars ripping u off an faking lost.

  • @sharky5921 I know of one case where the taxi driver said he was going to take a short cut and drove a gringo into a neighborhood where some of the motocarts buddies were waiting to rob the tourist. They did not plan on the gringo being a big time bad ass with a knife. Any of the four were lucky to have gotten out alive. We found out about it and with the help of some military got the gringo on a plane for Lima, and out of the country. Police looked for him for a couple of days.

  • i was there in 2002...ketchup did suck

  • Got to love the plaza... love it, used to live there....dont eat at Ari's....bad hamburgesas....catsup not real good either.....(-:

  • @pandorazhotbox Yes, I love Iquitos and the plaza is such a wonderful and beautiful place. I particularly like it on Saturday night when all the people are on the plaza, the lights, the smells, the noises. Thanks for you comment.. I live there part time still in Punchana, but recently purchased a house in San Juan.
