Potions are really easy to make and actually pretty quick once you get used to it. You can make 3 Instant Health II potions that heal for 6 hearts each and it only take 3 bottles, 1 nether wart, 1 melon slice, 1 gold nugget, and 1 glowstone dust.

Maybe I'm exaggerating how easy it is, but I own a potions shop on my server so I'm kind of use to it.

@SwimmingBird941 Ah, ok neat. The easiest way for me to find nether fortresses is to travel in a single direction from the nether spawn point, with the exception of shifting a bit to navigate the map. It's even better if you have 4 people total going in different directions.

Also bring maps, it helps.
