The GSXR is a completely different class of bike though. It's a supersport, the Z750s is a naked street bike. All depends what you want in a bike, you want speed and uncomfortable rides, the GSXR is the way to go, but everyone has a GSXR. The Z750s is not seen as much, is more comfortable, and is meant for a different kind of riding. I love my Z and accept a GSXR600 would blow me off the road, but we're only taking a couple seconds in a 1/4 mile here, not huge.
all I can say is the GSXR is lighter, faster and has more HP than the Z... 0-70 in first gear! GSXR is a super sport vs a sport touring...hands down GSXR wins.
Torque = Z750s. Gixxer has a lot more power in RPMs, weighs a lot less. The Z around 85 hp. I was dynod at 83. my Gixxer has over 105 stock. I couldn't keep up with a GSXR 600 with my Z. even with a head start. stock the GSXR can do 75mph in first gear. I think the Z can do about 45 or 50 I don't remember exactly. I bought the Z just as a stepping stone...wish I went to a GSXR750 or 1K. all around GSXR's are better. hands down...but I still enjoyed the Z's comfort more.
no way....the GSXR can go 0-70 (in 1st gear) as the Z750s can go about 50. the hp in a GSXR is better. not dissin the Z750s but the GSXR is all all around, lighter and faster than the Z. hands down! all on the Gear ratio.
your wrong, i don't know what a gsxr will do in first but my z750s will go to about 65 in first. goes up to 170ish. I can easily get in trouble winding out first in the city. and horsepower is over 100. I have NO PROBLEMS keeping up with the guys i ride with. I am on the light side, 170 lbs. my only "issue" with the bike is the soft front suspension, and the stock seat sucked!!
This is my old Kawi! I traded this Z750s in for a GSXR 600. I liked this bike but it was just a stepping stone! I'll have to make videos and post them up in the spring! thank you for looking at my old Kawi people!
