Great vid man. After going through the tutorial I still had no idea where to begin with this game. Just placing those first few traps was enough for me to get a feel for the whole thing. At least I passed the easy map (with only 2 lives left, don't tell anybody).

the easiest way is to use slow and logs then Cannons on the side, thats the easiest way but unfortunately it lacks combo bonuses

Anybody got any tips for how to get 175k points? Also hiby this strategy works fine for beating the mode for me. Infact I was INFRONT of tas for most of the time (I had the whole setup complete plus 2 extra cannon towers at wave 47-48). The only problem is that this strategy doesn't get enough points for the badge =(

@DegenerationX2 use slow + tnt on sides + logs to push back. it gives tons and tons of combo points. not elegant, but effective.

You must be playing a different version than i am or something. You get much more gold than I do, that or your towers cost less. I follow you exactly and cant really come close to getting what you get at the same time. i lag behind like 5 waves.

i did play this on a beta version, but AFAIK it's identical to the public release... also, nobody else has mentioned any issues. but, this method is far from the easiest way to beat hard mode. it's really meant to show off elaborate trap combos.

Hey dude, what's the point in posting videos like this one, with just 165.000 points?! People on Kong need 175.000 for the hard badge? You should put it at least in the information!

i made this video before the game was publicly released... it's not meant to be a guide for the Kong Hard badge (nor does it say anywhere that it is)... it's meant to show how to beat Hard Mode using an elaborate trap system, which is exactly what it does.

my strategy for 101 can be applied for hard mode too, which can gain more than 1,000,000 points. I have redesigned my maze to hit 10x Combo Tally. The key is to focus the enemy in 1 killer hot spot and reuse the traps instead of spreading it out like what you did in this video. i have a screenshot for my version 2 maze, check it out at ayumilove.wordpress(dot)com

to date, my best 101 score is a bit over 1.2 million. about 251k for hard, although that probably can be improved a bit.

infinite. 65 is the level cap. i'm actually almost level 68, if the system wasn't capped. about 2000xp from level 67 to 68.

it's where you have multiple paths and close off one, then sell and close off the other, back and forth, juggling the monsters between the 2 paths.
