I'll be checking this place out this May (2012).... It was a toss up between Palawan and Boracay... although I really wanted to go to Palawan, my budget will only allow me and my son to go to Boracay... but hey, i'm still thankful for that! thanks for this video, it really helped me in my decision...

@MrGoldenmango It's funny you mention that. I find that many Koreans dislike being exposed to the sun, so I figured that they would avoid Boracay because it's so sunny.

@barnetr2 Yeah, I know. They cover themselves completely and they go in the water. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against Koreans in general, but sadly, the way they act when they go to places like Philippines, they start acting like they don't care anything. Many local workers dislike the Koreans behavior.

@MrGoldenmango When I was a kid, I was taught to "Leave every place you visit as it was before you got there, or pick up some trash if you see any to improve it" (thanks BSA). It's a shame that type of philosophy is not more widely adopted.

I've been to Phuket, Thailand, Pattaya Beach Thailand, and even Ibiza Spain, and Boracay doesn't even match up to Ibiza. Boracay is the shit tho.

The whole island is beautiful. Clear, warm water, beautiful sunsets, and friendly people everywhere. It is paradise. I enjoyed riding around the island by boat and snorkeling the most . I'd skip the crystal cave though, IMO. We were there for a week, and we stayed over at the OneMGM Resort on White beach which was great, but IMO the Regency has a slightly better location. I've heard that the Regency is regarded as the best, but there's different strokes for different folks. Enjoy !!!

No prob. Yeah, we went to Sydney for a week back in December (see video on barnetr2), and we had a great time! I think we're heading on an African Safari next. It should be fun too!

Honestly guys it's the best video of Boracay I've ever seen! Posted by a foreigner with a local song. This makes your video unique. You really had a great time in Boracay. I'll surely come back to Boracay because we missed the island hopping and snorkling so we were not able to see different fish and corals of the island. REally it is the best video of Boracay i've ever watched!

We had a bungalow over at the OneMGM resort. We passed by the Regency several times, and it looked very nice. It is a wonderful island :^)

Boracay is definitely an excellent destination in my opinion. Cebu is also supposed to be a nice spot (but I have not been). We stayed at the OneMGM resort on the White beach in one of their deluxe bungalows for about $90 USD a night, and the place was great (IMO)! Also, there are plenty of places to eat along white beach, and the prices for good meals are LOW. We spent significantly less money here than I had expected, and had a wonderful time.
